There is something fascinating to me about places where people worked and lived but that are now abandoned and empty of the normal activities that go with human life. It also shows how fast nature claims back the places we inhabit.
Man o man that looks
Cold -and this is from warm heated cars- imagine riding a horse to those locations – plus pulling supplies to work in those areas
This guy’s accent changes every 3 seconds
try outside of florence close to canon city old black town for slaves find the school that was burned down with the school kids inside every thing out there is foundation or buried
Toyota, why own anything else? My HyLux is like a tank in Thailand & Thai drive it. They routine break everything (SONY lasts a bit longer) else.
Liam Vickers makes very good use of ghost towns in colorado in many of his stories
His accent makes my ears bleed
I grew up in the valley on the west side of cinnamon pass. My dad spent his 20s logging near american basin up there. Him and my mom are the two who restored Carson to what it is now.
cool video
Wow magnificent place
I really enjoy your vids. Cheers
Hey do a show about ham radio and your vehicle sometime. Are you a real ham operator?
management of video tech, drone, high level very good document
When I lived in Colorado we would take our jeeps and go explore ghost towns. Fun times. Enjoyed the video.
New subscriber here, just found your channel, the drone footage is incredible, feels like i m there looking at it. Love it
Idiotic music only serves to annoy.
Who is plowing these roads
Native Americans should come back and thrive again.
youre making me regret selling my uzj100
I live in (beautiful) Colorado and so much of this is unexplored territory. Thank you
Thank you for highlighting my state’s history, Colorado is still a huge mining hub. Even a lot of smaller mines and quarries, like the the ones I work in, can make money. Still though, it’s incredible to see how much mines do for their surrounding towns. They’re a very large source of jobs, but now it’s very difficult for us to find workers, and that may end up putting some smaller companies out of business. It’s easy to see why there are so many abandoned mines and towns nearby when you work in the industry.
Literally, the $$$ million $$$ view.
Well just subscribed for your brilliant videos and views and I just can’t get enough of it. I’m really fascinated by your work
I think I missed this one first time around. Agree with what other say, this is almost a documentary and as always, your production and filming is just amazing. Love the music you pair with it too.
I like camping and travels love colorado
AMENNNNNNNNNN….
Most annoying soundtack I’ve ever had to try and make through. Couldn’t do it. Sucks because the rest isn’t bad
pretty cool.. i wouldn’t mind taking my Outback to some of those passes but i have to make sure i have another truck with me.. probably a good idea to wait until july or august..
I worked at Ashcroft this summer a bit, and something interesting is that all the trees around it are younger than the town, being that when constructing it for all those people, they used all the surrounding trees.
Great video mate, well presented!
Amazing video! I plan to try and follow in your footsteps some day.
Wonderful videography – well done.
9:26 Gustavson Home, most likely a Swedish family 🇸🇪🤠
Didn’t Trump make them great again recently?
This is easily the best video I’ve seen about ghost towns here in Colorado, and not even just that, trails too and great advice. Awesome, thank you for taking to time to make this!
Slow sideways pan for EVERY shot? Really?
I enjoyed your videio, as a previous life a Coloradian.
they say find hand prints on your window
from Kenya love this
A change in music genre/style would enhance the monotony of the landscape. Halfway through your doc has become more of the same. Friendly suggestion.
That resolution… dam.
This is truly amazing. Incredible work. I can’t stop watching ❤
Beautiful video….scenery…….music….thanks from across the pond 😎🍷🚍⚓️🇬🇧👍
Way, way too much screen time spent on two cars just driving on roads. Maybe 1/10th of the video is actually about the ghost towns.
The humming birds are plentiful in St Elmo. 🙂
That building remind me somewhere near las venturas
Beautiful country side.
Lol who is maintaining these roads?
All the passes are open if you are determined enough.
Been working my way through your channel and wanted to tell you I believe your channel is the best in the overlanding/exploration genre. Great, well-shot, edited, and narrated content, plus your lack of hyperbole and brotastic attitude is very refreshing. You come across as very likable and humble but still knowledgeable.
