Jack Stuef, 32, a medical student from Michigan, found the famous fortune believed to be worth more than $1 million that Forrest Fenn had left for someone to unearth. A photo of Stuef has emerged delivering the chest to Fenn, the antiques dealer who hid it a decade ago. Stuef’s identity was relieved by Outside Magazine and according to a story in the magazine, he retrieved the chest on Saturday, June 6, in Wyoming.He then drove to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to hand deliver it to Fenn that same day.
Med school runs about 50k a year for however many years he went + interest…after taxes and paying off student loans he’ll have enough left for his next solve.

I checked an Instagram post made by someone who I think knows the guy who found it. They posted a picture of the spot where he found the treasure but said that he doesn’t want to reveal where this spot is. Apparently the treasure was found under a bridge in a tree that appears to have been burnt and damaged 200 years ago. This is what I believe Fenn meant with “finding the blaze.” It makes sense once you read and see the posts.

I bet it was found at the base of Half Dome in Wyoming in a small inlet or cave like. Or it was near Old Faithful where warm waters halt. I am in my 40s and disabled by a car wreck or I would have gone to look for it. I’m so sorry to hear Fenn passed but happy that the med student was able to find it for him before he died.

the treasure was found in 2019, and not by this man. This is FAKE NEWS. I have the real info in a letter that Forrest Fenn wrote to me in 2019. the treasure was actually found in 2019/ my letter is valuable. I am waiting for my book to come out. this must just be a broadcast to throw off the legittimacy of the find and the legal actions. I know who wrote the sept 23rd doccument redit. it isn’t this jack guy, thats for sure. this is just there way of covering up the truth. and the family is just lying as they dont want to be bothered either.
