Forrest Fenn’s Hidden Treasure Found by Medical Student

Forrest Fenn’s Hidden Treasure Found by Medical Student

Jack Stuef, 32, a medical student from Michigan, found the famous fortune believed to be worth more than $1 million that Forrest Fenn had left for someone to unearth. A photo of Stuef has emerged delivering the chest to Fenn, the antiques dealer who hid it a decade ago. Stuef’s identity was relieved by Outside Magazine and according to a story in the magazine, he retrieved the chest on Saturday, June 6, in Wyoming. He then drove to Santa Fe, New Mexico, to hand deliver it to Fenn that same day. #InsideEdition

The chest that was found contains fake gold in it. They can’t sell what they don’t declare what it is. The story is bigger than the contents of the chest.
    Think people.

I like to pretend Forrest is still alive, and the treasure is still a unsolved mystery…

  8. TheNext Avenger on July 28, 2022 at 10:23 am

Yeah the treasure is cool. I never had my hopes up about that. Especially now that it’s found, I just want to see where it was. I don’t care about the clues, the puzzle, the mystery, the hunt, ALL great things, but the place it was put was supposed to be really special. I want to see where it was, I want to know why it was important to Fenn and what it meant to him. Ive only known 2 locations in my life that I would call Heaven, they’re very dear and I have many great almost miraculous memories of them. Places where I could stand barefoot all day, walk around all day and never want to leave. I’d like to know about this spot he put his treasure. I bet it’s breathtaking.

Jack Stief has landed a role in a smear comedy. He received the part of the treasure as a reward from Fenn, which he considered sufficient for this activity. The valuable ring was obviously not one of them. In other words, Stief provided Fenn’s alibi so that he could complete the search shortly before his death. Stief cannot explain why and how he found the treasure location. The Forrest Fenn poem I deciphered does not explicitly lead to this location at Osprey Falls. His explanation of not naming this former site for any uninteresting find is ridiculous. It can even be assumed that he was never there and did not know him until today, since I am only now mentioning him.

I believe the blaze was/is located along the Fire Hole River Rd. In 2016/2017 the clues all told me to look along the river downstream of the last falls that would prevent the brown trout from returning upstream. My brother Jim and I drove the river road loop three or more times a blazewhichchecked
Then Jim noticed a natural swirling formation in the face of the rock wall adjacent to the road. In the proper lighting conditions, this formation looked like a blazing bonfire. It was such an awesome site that I instantly knew this was Forrest"s blaze.
    The blaze is locatedat 44 degrees 37′ 54.94" N and 110 degrees 51′ 48.12" W.

Follow a river to a fishing hole and then wade across the river and hunt for a marker. There has been a fire and a lot of the trees fell down, so the hiding place is really hard to find. It helps to see the pictures of the fishing hole in Fenn’s family album.
