Forrest Fenn Treasure – My Third Last Solve in Yellowstone
Forrest Fenn Treasure – My Third Last Solve in Yellowstone
My third last solve and search in Yellowstone for Forrest Fenn ‘s hidden treasure based on his poem and his ‘The Thrill of the Chase’ book.
Yes, I did, I did. I found a gold!!!
Music is from “I Will Remember” (https://youtu.be/SUCde0neqpI) by Jody Gnant.
MARVEL GAZE YOUR YOUTUBE FACEBOOK VIDEO RESUMES MARVEL GAZE YOUR SUPERVISING LIES MARVEL GAZE THE BLAZE YOU ARE MARVEL GAZE OF NARCISSISTIC IGNORANCE THE BLAZE YOU ARE MARVEL GAZE IF YOU ARE WISE AND FOUND THE BLAZE MARVEL GAZE CHEATERS AND FOOLS MARVEL GAZE THE BLAZE YOU ARE MARVEL GAZE
This is logical search, try it again next time, you can go straight to the spot. đ Plus, you already have a treasure in your life, it’s your wife. Do not overlook.
The blaze the cold the…
Glyphman … you have the spirit! I hope you find it!
Oh,and love the music also…so relaxin’!
What software did you use for the map video at the end of the video? Doesn’t look like Google Earth…I’d love to get it!
"If you are brave and in the wood" is in the poem but Fenn has made various references to the location of the TC that make me wonder what ‘the wood’ is.When he discusses the hunt he often refers to the forest or makes references that make you feel like he means forest or heavy woods. Maybe ‘the wood’ just means entering the tree line. And I would never think a small area of trees burning would constitute a forest fire. I just posted these first references by Fenn to the forest that I found. There may be more.
+++++++
FF: If I was standing where the treasure chest is, I see trees, I see mountains, I see animals, Iâll smell wonderful smells of pine needles or pinon nuts, sage brush. And I know the treasure chest is wet.
++++++++++++
FF: The chest is exposed to rain and snow, and could be scorched in a forest fire.
+++++++++
FF: If I had my way I would die under a tree somewhere deep in a pine forest and let my body go back to the earth.
+++++++++
Q: What equipment should they have?
FF: It’s easy to get turned around in the forest and lose your bearings. One should have plenty of water, warm clothes and a GPS.
++++++++
Q: Did you really say the blaze is a white streak, as has been rumored? Thank you.
FF: No, I did not say that. There is a lot of bad information floating around the blogs and many posts that are not well thought out. One person said (Iâm paraphrasing) âHe said the treasure is hidden in the trees. Then he contradicted himself and said it was in the sun. How could it be both.â Makes me wonder if that person has ever been in the forest.
Here is the one-picture solution using the poem-as-a-map, as instructed: https://www.dropbox.com/preview/Public/Using%20the%20Poem%20as%20Map.jpg?role=personal
Here are the Google Maps coordinates where you CAN see the actual blaze, the "nn" painted on top of that large flat boulder: 36.6355, -106.2105
Open Google Maps, type in coordinates, then switch to Satellite mode, then zoom to
the highest magnification.

Beautiful video. Some of you, BOTG searchers , make good videos, but there is not too many views. May be use more key words.
In Yellowstone, Wyoming there is a place called Firehole River. A river that is fed by a hot spring. This river feeds into a waterfall that goes into a Canyon. Now the river does continue onward through a tight canyon but the waters are apparently not warm like above. The water meets up with another source here that is cooler. If you google images "firehole river" you can see the waterfall and canyon I’m talking about and the river that is well over your head. You can’t boat it because it’s too narrow but you can tread it if you don’t mind a swim. Just down from this waterfall there are several cave systems.
Nice video. In west Yellowstone right now. Been checking out some starting points. Iâve never had a complete solve Iâve been confident. Itâs fun to finally see all these areas of interest the poem introduced me to. Weâre mainly doing the tourist things as the search seems overwhelming with the area being so vast. Anyways like seeing other people finish there solve. I hope one day we have our own and find that thrill.
If I wasnât so confident in my own Yellowstone solve, this would be my favorite. Great solve! Donât give up the chase.
If you hit a bison with your side mirror, you were traveling too fast. The bison have the right of way. đ
Your solves are really well thought out and you may have been close. But the most important thing is your family had a fantastic time in Yellowstone – one you can always remember with a smile. That is true gold.
Very nice video presentation.
Love your video!…great analogy!….keep up the good work!
My solve will be shown in late June, it’s not in Yellowstone. I found the meaning of Catcher in the Rye, 6 cats like socks on a line and 4 meadowlarks one scissor tail (they are all descriptions of the same spot), I found the cemetery and the fire circle the 5 or 6 gypsy girls danced around that was north of his house, the rr tracks that were south of his house and most importantly a rusty 1 inch thick pipe 18 inches long that sits on top of a bluff overlooking a canyon (the Blaze?)
Dude that was e everyone’s 1st theory keep going till you have at least 200 more
Anyone wanna take a trip? lol
good video. Thanks for the ideas. Nice POV
Nice video! What drone did you use for your video?
You think an 80 year old man could hike that?!
"North OF" could mean North Old Faithful. It’s Firehole River.
Join the other thousand people who have thought that.. i actually snorkelled that from ojo to lower bridge.
Dude you are awesome.
wow… This is a beautiful video. I’ve been searching for Fenn’s loot going on 6 years. Mostly NM but starting to search the YNP and Gallatin NF areas. Visited Ojo Caliente and Nez Perce Creek last fall. I liked your solutions to the clues, too.
