  27. txprospector on February 7, 2022 at 11:29 pm

I choose to believe that it does exist. I will be looking for it myself, though I will not be trashing your state. I honor the pack it in, pack it out code that all outdoorsmen should live by. If the treasure is wet then there’s no need to dig a bunch of holes so no worries there. I will be bringing tourism $ to NM in the way of buying gas and food and campground fees. It’s a shame that so many people don’t pick up their trash when they’re outdoors.

Here is the one-picture solution. The blaze is at 36.6355, -106.2105
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6pbe4edgs96g4j/Using%20the%20Poem%20as%20Map.jpg?dl=0
The chest was in New Mexico in the Carson National Forest. Two of the important clues are in Colorado, one clue location is on the CO/NM border, and three clues are in New Mexico. The remaining 3 clues are not really needed but serve as fillers and padding to make the poem the right length. The clue locations ON LAND in the real world are not close together, are not consecutive, not contiguous, and not chronological.
You really did not have to find where warm waters halt first. That turned out to be misleading, because if you started with home of Brown, you could use the poem-as-map and the edge of the triangle to reverse-engineer and determine where warm waters halted. The blaze was not visible with Google Maps until 2016, when the resolution increased enough to see it. You can still see it today at 36.6355, -106.2105. – – – –
