Gold comes from the explosion of neutron stars not from supernova. Gold contains a lot of neutrons and you don’t get a lot of neutrons from a supernova.

Current thought may influence a point made in this wonderful video: The origin of gold from a "Super Nova" explosion may not be fully accurate. The neutron content of a Super Nova is too low, so scientists now feel most gold came from, and is still being produced by, colliding neutron stars. That is physics far beyond my training, so I’m just passing it along as an option to consider.
Another very well written program that should be used to teach in Schools and Colleges. This program makes me regret not getting a degree in Geology.

Gold will never again be used nor seen as an asset basis for valuation of any currency since it is now understood by the more enlightened that the true asset valuation basis for all currencies is and really always has been each sovereign nation’s most valuable, most precious asset which is – we the people. Not gold, not silver, not diamonds, and not crude oil or any other commodity but again, we the people are and have always have been the value asset for all currencies.
