Flying up and over the Santa Rita copper mine in New Mexico #ExploreNM #AdrianUnknown

This is a pretty cool video with views most people don’t get to see, This is the huge Santa Rita mine near Silver City, NM. We stopped by the side of the road to hang out and take photos and I just happened to have my drone, so why not? Only video like this so far, so enjoy!

I was a surveyor in that mine in 1970. The large trucks visible in the foreground used to drive on the left side of the road when traveling through the mine. It does not look like the mine is still operational.

Our grade school over a hundred miles away from this copper mine took a field trip to see it when I was like 12 years old, and I have been back a few times on my way through the area, but your drone flight and the very very cool music was amazing.

That’s awesome, thank you, Grant County is my hometown. Would you be able to fly near the kneeling nun?
