'Fenn's treasure' discovered in Colorado after 10 years

A treasure chest containing almost 7.5kg of gold has been found in the Colorado Rocky Mountains in the United States.

The chest was discovered 10 years after Santa Fe millionaire Forrest Fenn decided to hide it there along with a poem he penned to serve as a treasure map.

“I would not be surprised if somebody didn’t find it for 100 years or 1,000 years,” Mr Fenn said in 2015.

“When he finds that treasure chest and put it on his lap and lifts that lid, he’s either gonna laugh or faint.”

A community of about half a million people has searched for the treasure over the last decade, many expressing their disappointment they didn’t find it themselves.

Mr Fenn said his motive was to “get people off the couch and out into the sunshine to smell the fresh air” and he thinks it worked.

When asked whether it looked exactly as he remembered it, Mr Fenn said “it looks exactly how you would look if you spent 10 years outside in the rocky mountains.”

Forrest Fenn should tell the searchers where the treasure what’s hidden after all they all supported it it’s been a lot of money I feel they’re entitled to know it’s not going to hurt anything and everybody will know how close or how far they were I never solved was a lot of fun for him I’m sure he most certainly could tell us if he wanted to I’d be really sweet of him to do that for the hunters the other guy don’t really have much say in the matter I would think anyway it would be nice if he would share that with us give us a little inside I’ll be fun please I’m not a hunter just been following it was cool

If they didn’t want to say where it was found, why is this titled "in Colorado…"
…pretty suspect if you ask me

Not true. The Treasure was found in march 2019. I have a letter from ff telling me so. Also, Because I was the first one to mention to ff where his treasure was in 2015, is the only reason he wrote me in april 22nd 2019 telling me why he was sad for me, because I didn’t go back to claim it. I wasn’t in it for the treasure, in fact I told him that I would be the one to give him back his treasure chest. I knew all along where it was. He is a concieving liar to the public, and he hides the fact that he wrote me a letter telling me that I was right.

I have pictures of the letter from 2019 and the letter proves that it was found in march of 2019 and that i knew where it was all along since 2015. I can tie it to words that he has recently stated, and pulls him off his chair. so he shouldn’t lie anymore and he needs to tell the truth that he wrote to me telling me that i was right and I pinpointed the treasure chest first. so there he goes again lying to the public about when It was found. I hope he gets sued for the lives that were lost looking for this thing, meanwhile, I am going to continue writing a book about the chests whereabouts. I was the first one to know where it was. And the public will see that i was right.

I am going to state my letter online, and the solve. People will see that i was right, and I have witnesses like cow lazar. I told him even where the treasure was in an email in 2015. he still has the email. and he believed me/. see I’m’ not dumb fenn, you need to tell the people the truth and let them all know that I was right the whole time. I even have the name of the family that eventually got to the treasure . . all written to me in my letter from ff

  27. My Montana Treasures on September 19, 2022 at 2:17 pm

I believe forrest went and got 3 reasons why. There was a lawsuit putting pressure on him. He said in a video that he would go get the treasure if someone doesn’t find it in ten years and it was exactly 10 years to the day it was wound. 3rd why would the person who found the chest not read his autobiography that’s the first thing I would do he was seen in the picture with it on the table it is sealed! Makes no sense!
