Fenndamentals: Examining Forrest Fenn's Treasure Poem

Fenndamentals: Examining Forrest Fenn's Treasure Poem

In this video I get back to the Fenndamentals and examine the poem Forrest Fenn published in his memoir, The Thrill of the Chase. Since the book’s release, hundreds of thousands have gone searching for Forrest Fenn’s hidden treasure. In addition to fundamental poem trivia, I break down where in the poem the nine clues potentially reside and present an alternative way to think about the poem.

The huge mistake you are making, like many others, is that the Blaze is not clue number 9. If you go back and listen to what he said about following the poem you might understand. I’m not going to just give you the answer. Not yet anyway.

Here is the simple, one-picture, two-step solution: https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6pbe4edgs96g4j/Using%20the%20Poem&20as&20Map.jpg?dl=0

The word that was key is "blaze", that referred to 3 locations: Angel Fire, NM; the blaze location in the poem, and the final blaze on the ground in the Carson National Forrest in New Mexico. "It" in the poem Stanza 2 means the cut-out of the poem that you use as a map. – – – –

I first looked at this poem in late 2016. A lot of the more trivia aspects are from my early analysis. Back then, I was more in the camp of "9 sentences, 9 clues." Clearly, I’ve evolved my opinion in light of more research and numerous quotes. If I may be so bold, how do you use the poem to identify a general area to help identify or confirm the first clue?

Hi Jeremy! Can’t believe I have not seen this until now!
Imo the poem is not contiguous unless it is talking about 2 different things!
    A chest and a trove!
When the chest has been found; Forrest must go and allow for the trove to be found also, and then give title!
NO TITLE NEEDED FOR A CHEST SOMEONE HAS GONE IN PEACE WITH!
    Just my thoughts!

Good video, but I saw one thing that you and I would disagree with in your video, but it’s your solve. And, also a comment you made below, I have issues with that was well, but it’s your solve. I don’t have the chest on me, so who’s to say. Good video though!! 🙂
