Not worth it….. where’s the gems? LOL
Forrest Fenn is a shifty person who lied and wanted attention and book deals… that chest is not worth $20,000. He just gave it to some random guy before Forest died just to have his own closure!

I see no evidence not a scrap of it,, not a single shred – nothing more than a dying man with a guilty conscience pawing through scrap discarded gold trinkets, not what was marketed in the original photo’s, only 1/3 full. Where are the hundreds of rubies, diamonds, sapphire ring, 100 gold nuggets, and many more handfuls of gold coins filled to the brim of the chest Fenn cast in his own bronze art foundry ?. Shiloh Old Fenn’s golden haired grandson is behind the camera taking the photo’s after the chest was retrieved in 2015 below Blaze Mountain Montana 10,200ft, restored / cleaned and kept in a safe deposit box until the pandemic of 2020. Fenn felt his time to die had come. The bag of 7 fish (dead searchers) was possibly enough for Fenn to endure, perhaps Fenn a psychopath had a moment of guilt or remorse, first ever in his life. Show me some evidence to the contrary rather than fairy tales and lies of mass deception and I will amend my view – but no one can. Fenn a self proclaimed spook ended the search with what else, but a conspiracy. Read ALL the facts I state and discard any if you can – dont just get emotional because you confuse a kindly old grey haired generous man with a ruthless psychopath – Fenn’s message behind the mask he wore (ITS NOT IMPORTANT WHO YOU ARE, ITS ONLY IMPORTANT WHO THEY THINK YOU ARE) Only I received 2 x I’M SORRY GLEN emails from Forrest Fenn (check em out) did anyone else ?, wonder why ? – right before his death after 2 years of revealing to him the only complete solution with an aerial shot of the treasure chest at the location anyone can view. The Fenn I’m sorry emails are screenshots so they are not fakes. Research the truth here. Get a $100,000 Credit Suisse gold ingot if you can debunk my solution. I am the only searcher that has ever revealed the location hint on pages 110 – 111 of TTOTC.

That’s good and all but that’s not the real treasure. The real prize is that how many families went looking Together? Memory burner’s are the real Treasure.

  6. Rick Butler on August 17, 2021 at 8:19 am

Well, I hate to bring this up but mr.. Fenn had to go and retrieve the treasure, he’s was having threats and people showing up to his home . He had to protect his family in the years to come. There will know more information on this.

  9. Mohammed Bin Goldstein on August 17, 2021 at 8:22 am

I found the treasure. Most of it is gold painted coins and bags of swag weed. No cash. It was behind a port-a-Jon near the pick and pull. Not even burried, just’a sittin’ in the sand.

  11. Explozivec 12 on August 17, 2021 at 8:25 am

The location in my opinion Wyoming obviously.. warm waters (hot springs near Thermopolis)
The river is called buffalo creek (home of brown)
Also if u check the picture in the book where the poem is written u can see that there is a map of the Rocky Mountains and this part is on the map also mid center of the page..

Now that Forrest has passed on, his "special place in the mountains north of Santa Fe" can be revealed without causing too many problems:     https://www.vallecitos.org/   Look at the photos (click on Why Vallecitos, then Photo Gallery) and you will see some hints that were given out by Forrest, "the poem leads to the end of my rainbow" (see photo of a large rainbow that ends near where the treasure was hidden as Forrest wrote on the cover flap of The Thrill of the Chase), and a photo of some cast bronze bells similar to those Forrest made and hid, and a photo of a bench next to a large rock wheel, and with Google Maps look at the grassy pasture area south of the Vallecitos main ranch house and you will find a rock wheel, as in "Try the wheel" that Forrest told to one searcher.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/yw1sdttynrfxcnf/2%20Vallecitos%20Mountain%20Retreat-%20Try%20the%20Wheel.jpg?dl=0 – – – – – – The Google Maps coordinates for the location of The Blaze (large black-painted "nn" on top of a big white boulder) are:  36.6355, 106.2105  – – –  You can see that the blaze was about 0.6 miles from the Vallecitos driveway.  Forrest probably had the 4-digit combination for the lock on the gate leading to the Vallecitos Mountain Retreat.  The FInder had to hike north around the fence for 1.3 miles from the nearest public road to the chest.  The blaze is 210 feet from the Vallecitos Rio where several searchers looked, and 440 feet from the Loop Trail where many searchers walked. – – – – –

  24. Bird In Charlotte on August 17, 2021 at 8:40 am

I am the man that found the location of where the treasure was supposed to be and e mailed him on the 6th of June with exact gps location, he then told the world someone had found it but no other info was available, I had found the location August 2018 but because nothing was there I kept looking. It was a hoax, I found every clue and hint and the secret that the numbers in ttotc actually confirmed the last 3 digits for lat/long of each hint. The last 3 digits for where the treasure was supposed to be ended with 423 and 328, His dads burial location and the number of missions he flew in Vietnam. 5 people died looking for the treasure and 350,000 spent millions looking and it was all a hoax. I do have the blaze in my possession. The treasure location where it was supposed to be was only 35 feet from where I parked and alot of people drove by it every day 40 to 50 feet from it. Pine Mountain, Wyoming

Those coins on top look like silver! If you compare it to the gold nugget, it looks silver.

I find it amazing that adult humans believe in the Easter bunny. like some totally unfit 80 year old man is going to hide a treasure that is over 80lbs, sounds like legit to me.

Actually I believe FF’s scrapbook with kitchen drawers filled with silverware and spices was his way of showing how the chest was hidden. It was sitting under something similar in appearance to wooden tabletop, in a slot, so had to be taken out just like kitchen drawers.

  45. James Shelnutt on August 17, 2021 at 9:07 am

I don’t care at all who supposedly found it or what happens to it now – what I would like to know is where was the exact spot it was located and some better proof than a few photos. Photos don’t mean anything – I want a video of the guy (blur out his/her head so we can’t identify them and even alter their voice) but I want to see the chest & treasure out on a table with them going over where they found it, how they found it, and them going thru everything in the chest. Hell people put videos up about what they find in storage lockers and in other people’s garbage, they can make a video of this. Until then I will remain skeptical about whether or not the hunt is over.

  46. MysteriousOklahoma on August 17, 2021 at 9:08 am

Would have been cool …if the person who found it would have left something behind to carry on Finns legacy….

I think the bag under the key, the item that looks “corroded” could be an old pocket watch.
