    I remember waking up early that morning and walking up to watch. It was a dizzly Morning.

    Thats probably how the stacks at the Clarkdale smelter were brought down. Only they were 2 different materials: One was steel, and 400 ft high, and the brick stack was 430 feet high. The steel stack was brought down in 1962, and the brick was brought down in 1966.

    Thanks for sharing the video. My grandfather worked at the mine and I spent many summers with my grandparents and always remember the smelter stacks.
