Exploring Southern new mexico mines with a friend today. #ExploreNM #AdrianUnknown
In this video my friend and I set out to some new mines out in southern NM. I wont say where I am so please don’t ask, if you know, you know. This place had some cool finds. The lowest level where this is at had some cool skulls and some really nice minerals near the end of the mine. I found some reallllly nice fluorite slabs and some malachite and calcopyrite as well. This mine was full of all sorts f colors and things to see. I’m really happy I get to do this kind of stuff!
What if i told you i know of a old conquistador gold mine in san rafael
The skull with the large canine teeth is from a collared peccary. They are closely related to pigs, but they are in a seperate family, tayasuidae, as oposed to actual swine, which are members of the family suidae. Just a lil zoological tidbit. I still haven’t been able to do any exploring, because i keep waiting for friends to make the time, but i think im just gonna start doing it solo. I wish i knew more people like yourself, who enjoy this stuff, but everyone just thinks im weird. Be grateful you have people around you whom share your interests. Anyway, great vid as always. Stay safe!
How old do you think that caves been there?
