If you go wear a respirator the main danger is getting the stuff in your lungs.

  3. ThinkingBetter on November 29, 2022 at 12:13 am

This is rather dumb. You simply can’t visit a place like this without a Geiger counter.

  4. maria elena rodriguez on November 29, 2022 at 12:14 am

I dont understand why do you do this video without protection

  5. Koala Bread on November 29, 2022 at 12:16 am

why disguise your voices and blur your faces, its not like your identity can’t be found through your emails attached to your YouTube channel

I love Arizona,, but it’s a shame that the government there has for So long, allowed the exploitation and corporatization of it’s beautiful lands.😔

  10. nzoomed on November 29, 2022 at 12:24 am

Is the radon levels inside a danger at all?

  11. light saberAddiCt on November 29, 2022 at 12:26 am

no geiger counter? No protective clothing? you guys are idiots. Sorry. Nice video though.

  12. ThinkingBetter on November 29, 2022 at 12:26 am

Where the heck is your Geiger counter??? Not too smart, perhaps you got yourself a cancer. And carrying a gun LOL, afraid of what?

  13. falco830 on November 29, 2022 at 12:27 am

These two guys died several years later…

lol jk idk but that happened with the elephants foot

  14. Joseph GEIS on November 29, 2022 at 12:28 am

Get away from the filthy mine.

  15. Talon Morris on November 29, 2022 at 12:28 am

    Bruh u gonna have cancer

  16. Eugene Morrison Stoner on November 29, 2022 at 12:30 am

This whole video is like the game Fallout New Vegas in an almost literal sense. Just for shits and gigs I’d go the whole 9 yards with equipment: full fledged surplus radiation suit complete with gasmask, giger counter, MREs (for camping some distance away), rifle and/or shotgun with side arm with extra mags/shells, and a vest, knee, elbow, and shoulder pads, and a riot helmet for that extra Metro 2033 effect. Full post apocalyptic.

Edit: What piece is your friend carrying?

  17. groovass65 on November 29, 2022 at 12:33 am

I’d be scared of cave ins

I recently explored the Max Delta Mines, we did not enter through the same mine you went through. We continued to hike upwards and found a different one with a very small opening that you had to crawl through and it then opened up. Pretty steep inside though, also very sketch due to the crappy wood pillars "holding" it up. We are planning on going back with better gear and to look for the mine shaft you explored in your video. Where is this mine located, I would like to check it out!

  19. Ted Pittsinger on November 29, 2022 at 12:35 am

Pretty boring! I can video tape an abandoned house! That clicking is driving me nuts! There HAS to be better coverage on this subject than this!

  20. BFM Rick on November 29, 2022 at 12:35 am

Also why you no bring Geiger counter?

  21. Sebastian DC on November 29, 2022 at 12:36 am

So are you still alive? lol

  22. Subhasish ChristChe on November 29, 2022 at 12:36 am

    …one must unnastan
    – that airborne, radioactive concentrates from these mines and the nuke testing sites were, and still is being carried by the near-constant, westerlies right into the densely populated eastern USA…

To the north in the wind.

To the south in the rains…

Fukushima to Chernobyl to a dozen other sites…and this does *NOT* even begin to address the Cold War weapons-grade nuke pile-up from all sides once involved…though an arguably (by relative terms) slow, nuke encasement & deep-burial project is ongoing…it is at the least, a welcome mental relief.

God…or whatever greater, altruistic power/all-mind/alien space scientist(s)/super-self one accepts as whatever…help us & especially those who follow.

  26. AKillerTuna on November 29, 2022 at 12:41 am

I love the video’s you make, but it’s so hard to deal with the giant sucking vagina that is the comment section. The culture of safety shaming is killing America, and has turned an entire generation into a bunch of sniveling pussies.

Here’s an idea: If you don’t like it, or think it’s dangerous, stay home and cut your grass (with safety shears, of course), and leave the rest of us to it.

  27. hemptime123 on November 29, 2022 at 12:43 am

you didn’t bring a geiger counter but you made sure to bring a gun and take it to that baddy ionizing radiation in case it poses a threat.
    fucking lunatics, lol.

  28. Gamerguy 646 on November 29, 2022 at 12:50 am

Why no gas masks it is radioactive

  29. Wafflepudding on November 29, 2022 at 12:52 am

I guess you caught *uranium fever*

  30. CaptainHorn on November 29, 2022 at 12:53 am

I would like to know, why the government has not enforced a law to blast close every inactive mine. Documenting physically where the entrances are. Uranium mines are still dangerous, as are all abandoned mines!

  31. Thomas Wade on November 29, 2022 at 12:54 am

You two sum bitches better watch out for raT🐍Tle snakes in them there fuckin caves you’re fuckin around in

Bad day to have an earthquake. The race outta there would be funny though.

  35. Joe Guzman on November 29, 2022 at 12:57 am

Just out of curiosity why do you carry a revolver instead of semi ?

  36. Ziggy Z on November 29, 2022 at 12:58 am

Cool video! Do you know if a P100 filter + respirator can help with the radon? How much personal danger if you spend maybe 1 hour in this mine?
I ask because I have an abandoned uranium mine within reasonable drive but I’m unsure of the risk. It’s hard to find good information.

  37. Mr-Nice-Guy j on November 29, 2022 at 12:59 am

in venice and madison illinois they had to remove 500 tons of earth that was contaminated with uranium from the ballistic testing. many of the residence filed a lawsuit
because of the cancer rates in the area. now its just a big ghetto containing all metal recycling plants, that are considered to be contaminated.

  38. Drew B on November 29, 2022 at 12:59 am

That abandoned house is totally gone now. And the audits are filled in. Looks like there was a big cleanup project. Glad this video exists to document it. So many cool places and structures in AZ are disappearing.

  39. TEAM GRYTH on November 29, 2022 at 1:00 am

Well I don’t know what I’ve been told. Uranium ore is worth more than gold. Sold my cat, I bought me a Jeep. I got that bug and I can sleep.

  40. gunny on November 29, 2022 at 1:02 am

Why the whispering and is it that area supposed to be scary?? And why wouldn’t you protect yourself?? Believe me that place caused problems like no other

  48. Dana J on November 29, 2022 at 1:08 am

If uranium has been mined since 1918, what was it used for? Wow I can’t believe you went in there without even a dust mask. Hope you were wearing you lead undies….

  49. Priscilla Ross-Fox on November 29, 2022 at 1:09 am

Interesting video but I would have taken a Geiger counter and a black light.

  50. ParanoidPony on November 29, 2022 at 1:11 am

You went out there and didn’t even bring a specimen home? Absolute mad lad. You could’ve at least made the risk of going out there with no mask worth it
