Exploring abandoned silver mines in Arizona!

Exploring abandoned silver mines in Arizona!

Had an awesome opportunity to explore Abandoned silver mines on a guided tour across several miles of Arizona wilderness, and down hundreds of feet of dark caves.

I had my own fun editing the video as you can see… Hope you enjoy it!!!

Awesome job! Never thought about finding bees, snakes and bats in that environment.

How did you do this? Was this an organization doing tours or did y’all just come across this?

Super cool! Any history on the mine and when it was abandoned? Is this like an ~insiders secret~?

You look like you’re really having a lot of fun down there. I’d like to try it some day. I’m bringing lots of batteries for the headlights though!

I have lived here my entire life and I feel fortunate to have been here when the population of Phoenix was ~500,000. I have been prospecting for gold and minerals for a long time. Regardless I really enjoyed your video. The intact Aurichalcite crystals in matrix is a great find and would make an excellent display piece. The mineralization in the mine is tremendous and it is likely that someday the mine will be reopened as metal prices rise.Your guide was solid and it looked like you and your crew all had a great time. Best wishes.
