EXPLORING A ABANDONED MINE IN ARIZONA
EXPLORING A ABANDONED MINE IN ARIZONA
I TRY AND LEAVE NO MINE UNEXPLORED. THIS ONE I FOUND WITH MY DRONE, WHICH WAS HIGH UP ON THE HILL. IT DIDN’T HAVE LOTS OF TAILINGS, BUT I LIKE TO CHECK THEM OUT ANYWAY. YOU NEVER KNOW IF THEY COULD CONNECT TO A MUCH BIGGER MINE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Pretty sure the miners shoveled all the cholla in there and thinking they’d return sometime. In the meantime nobody in their right mind would even think of getting past it. Whats in the mine stays in the mine.
If you ever want to hit a few mines or share cool spots I go almost monthly!:)
pack rats!
why not fly the drone in with a mini led light to explore it
My thoughts were perhaps it was put there deliberately to keep people out.
It’s blown in there so you won’t take the gold . Seen it a hundred times , always a good sign
Great videos. If you not doing anything next January, I have a claim with three shafts that need exploring.
Wonder how that happened don’t they need lots of sunlight to grow?
Pack Rats carry Hanta Virus , wear
Protective coveralls and good mask
If you feel stiff neck from cold like symptoms get checked out fast. Doctors
Can stop the spread antibiotics. Let it
Progress your done.
I’ve been poking my head in mines for 15 years. I don’t think I have ever seen cholla inside to that extent.
Coordinates?
Have you been inside the Boriana mine in Arizona I don’t see any videos of the inside of it.
Ps there’s 3 more neer by that are same way full of cactus. Found 7 total, running east and slightly North from there.
Wow, that is very hard to believe that cactus are growing in the mine tunnel. I didnt notice any cactus like that on the outside while you were hiking up there. Very confused here.
Where is this mine located (general location)?
There’s a little gold left at the face or was? Crazy old guy covered the adit where the bushes are years ago, must of blown back in
I was afraid you were going to get up there and it was going to be eroded shut. Definitely didn’t expect what actually turned out to be the problem…
Seems like a guy could break off a long branch and push some cactus aside as you walk to clear a narrow path. Sort of like a pitchforking motion to scoop and lift it aside like hay. I wonder if the tool could have been fashioned from the brush right at the entrance to the mine. 🙂 Take a respirator mask if you try for the dust.
“Gly”: WOW… now that’s allot of groceries! I think that pack rat was stocking up for the end of the world! Lol. It always amazes me how those pack rats can run through mounds of choya cactus without ending up looking like a pin cushion.
