Decade-long quest for secret treasure chest ends in Rocky Mountains
A treasure hunt started 10 years ago by an art dealer in Santa Fe, New Mexico has finally ended.
Forrest Fenn revealed on Sunday that someone had finally found the treasure he hid in the Rocky Mountains over a decade ago.
Fenn had stuffed the 13th-century bronze chest with $1-2 million worth of gold, jewelry and gems.
As Robin Gill reports, the conclusion of one mystery has spawned a new one.

Its a lie!! Its always has been a lie. That’s why the person who found the chest will never be know. It will never end up in auction. Its a scam for the book. After the last death that recently happened. He felt bad and decided to report it has been found. It was all staged!! He should be charged with the all the deaths for being a fraud…

Why keep the finder a mystery??? The treasure box has been buried for 10 years somehow this seems nothing but another person trying to get famous or have the last laugh don’t believe everything do your own research!

I am the man that found the location of where the treasure was supposed to be and e mailed him on the 6th of June with exact gps location, he then told the world someone had found it but no other info was available, I had found the location August 2018 but because nothing was there I kept looking. It was a hoax, I found every clue and hint and the secret that the numbers in ttotc actually confirmed the last 3 digits for lat/long of each hint. The last 3 digits for where the treasure was supposed to be ended with 423 and 328, His dads burial location and the number of missions he flew in Vietnam. 5 people died looking for the treasure and 350,000 spent millions looking and it was all a hoax. I do have the blaze in my possession. The treasure location where it was supposed to be was only 35 feet from where I parked and alot of people drove by it every day 40 to 50 feet from it.
