I was wondering if you were going to run into a snake sooner or later, and you did. But I’m like Indiana Jones, I hate snakes; they give me the willies. Even have had nightmares about them. Once I was fishing at a lake, sitting on my bucket, very intently concentrating on my plastic worm in the water. I happen to look to my left, and sitting on a !og not 4 feet away is this big yellow and white snake. I reeled in and vacated that spot so fast, like it was on fire! lol You’re much braver then me in that regard. Another great vid, looking forward to the next part.

I’m feeling the same way. A little confined and restricted here. Good for you doing what you need for your soul! I’m loving this trip and holding my breath waiting for each find! Also, commend you on your respect for Mother Earth by covering your holes and thanking the Mountain! Quest on! Hey, can we buy a sticker like you have on your truck?

Just curious, are those clear glasslike stones crystals or diamonds? We dont have anything like that in Malaysia that i know of. Enjoyed your video. Tammy🌻

That is such a great area. I’ll be heading up there in a week or so being I live only 20 miles from it. I’ll post a video of what I can find. I just wish I had even a smigen of your knowledge of the geology of things. Great video, I can’t hardly wait to see the next part! Thanks for sharing!

Nice area to go exploring! I was up mountains yesterday bouncing the Hubby around in the truck. Our sagebrush and soil looked like what you were in. The roads were rougher then what you were on, had to have 4wd to get through ruts and over basalt rocks in the roadway. Thanks for taking us along and CONGRATULATIONS on 20K!!! 👍 🎆✨🎉

This is beautiful but a little too out doorsy for me. I would be scared of all the creatures. Those are some pretty crystals you found. I’m a little bit envious. Lucky guy.

You found a great area. The overcast skies were a blessing. Last week I was in the high desert east of San Diego and it was sunny and in the 90’s. In that heat you need to be careful.

  12. Derek Howell on June 5, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Anything around Stockton I can get a diesel truck close to? I’d really like to get to one of those creeks you visit.

Thank you for yet another adventure. Living in a rural Australian town that is so flat, no Mountains, hills or rocks for hundreds of miles. With the reddest sandy soil. Ahhh one day lol 🙂

Beautiful day, wow how wonderful is that instant when your eye catches the natural faceted edges.? It’s an interesting little name for a mountain… my heart smiles when I find amazing things!

Hallelujah Junction, we couldn’t find a thing last time. Not like 30 yrs ago. Never saw a snake there. Camped right under those trees. I guess we are too picky.

  36. Naomi Hardy on June 5, 2021 at 10:02 pm

    Hey!
My boyfriend and I just went there last weekend! Got a tip from one of the claim owners where to dig. If you just dig a few inches below the surface especially in the parking/camping (where you parked) area you can find fully terminated Crystals. We actually found a smokey scepter and a terminated citrine point! And just lots of little crystals!! Have fun… we plan on going back soon!!

Emmy and I got stormed and flooded out of there last year, so we didn’t have time to find much. It was our last stop after Davis Creek where we gathered lots of nice Mahogany Obsidian.

The Desert Dog has since relocated, to Reno. The rattlesnakes are plentiful this year. I miss CA, but NV is a “new world”’for us.

Glad to see you still out exploring and questing, man.
