Chino Mine, New Mexico, 2021
We were headed on our way to Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument when we notice a large mine along the road. Chino is an open pit copper mine (one of the largest in the US) and the third oldest in the world (started in 1909).
On our way back, we saw the giant dump trucks working and stopped again. The viewing area was closed due to COVID, so I climbed on top of the RV to shoot the truck video. The truck driver must have noticed me, and after dumping his load he honked at me on the way back. Very Cool!!!

wow my mom has a photo of that big tire of the truck before, way back when san jose mining of sipalay City is still operating. i was amaze to know that what it really looked like when the tire is attacked to the truck its so huge.
