Over here in Australia most of the gold i find is placer gold from when the planet was frozen over. But other time periods held geothermal events but all this activity makes it hard chasing loads .The old timers left shafts drives and adits that help but its rare to find nuggets close by .I just work on the evidence i see which is rounded rock types usually high on mountains and swing that minelab detector knowing this gold travelled sometimes many miles and leave it at that .I do ok , but am aware in your case there is more fine gold on the planet than nuggetty stuff .Good luck ,and hope you do well ,i will keep an eye on your vids to see how your going . Just found your channel. Awesome stuff. I got some crushers and claims up here in BC canada. Right now I’m using my Gold Cube to catch the gold/silver. Saving up for the Gyro gold concentrator or maybe a small shaker table. Got a question for you; what would you do if you had high grade gold but was too small for gravity separation? Would you take the high grade ore to get leached? Or maybe just prove it’s volume and option/sell? Thanks

Cool channel, just subscribed. Just watched one of yr vids where you were taking samples from old workings. Do you test for bad air??? Just wondering because quite a few people have died from bad air, exploring old workings. That is 1 thing that scares me for going very deep, as I don’t have a canary. Would a candle or lighter work?

  14. Vendetta Prospecting on June 17, 2021 at 3:27 am

    Nice grab

  15. brad ross on June 17, 2021 at 3:28 am

Is this a for fun mine shaft or all business kinda mine shaft. If you plan to go business side. Me personally I would send some samples off for a fire essay. Then you will know if it is profitable enough to scale up. Just looking from the video I think it will hit 2 grams per ton or less.

That is some very nice mineralization in the those veins! Congratulations. My wife and I spend our summers digging our 4 motherlode gold claims on the Western Slope of the Divide near Pitkin Colorado. Hard Rock mining is no easy task but it sure is fun! Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Wowzer!! Watching you shoveling brought back painful memories for me of this past Tuesday. I was shoveling snow and ended up having a heart attack and was life flighted to Pueblo for a 99% blockage. Not fun for sure. Fast recovery because I am/was in pretty good shape. I still can’t believe it happened to me. Inherited family problems.

  27. Johnie Smith on June 17, 2021 at 3:44 am

You should take a good size chunk of that ore that you know will have visible gold and soak it in white vinegar for about a week and a half change out or add vinegar every so often they make absolutely gorgeous specimen pieces
