ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the show’s newest season. Pop music sensation Nick Jonas reclaims his red chair alongside superstar returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton for Season 20. Carson Daly returns as host. The show’s innovative format features four stages of competition: the Blind Auditions, the Battle Rounds, Knockouts, and the Live Performance Shows. During the Blind Auditions, the decisions from the musician coaches are based solely on voice and not looks. If a coach is impressed by the artist’s voice, he/she pushes a button to select the artist for his/her team. The singers with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week. Everyone complaining that Kelly didn’t turn, who tf cares. She didn’t want her goddam. It’s as simple as that. Maybe Kelly is looking for more unique artist. Kelly I can tell is strategic. I dislike how great singers are marginalized on all tv singing completions. It’s like if your too powerful, you can’t make it or go all the way. We still live in a society where powerful singers still exist. How is she doing too many runs when she basically sung the song as Sam did, but only as a woman. We have got to stop trying to bring powerful singers to a mediocre level. If other singers are not as powerful so be it. Just my take on it.
She was amazing and even if she did overdo the runs Kelly could have coached her through that. Can’t believe Kelly didn’t turn. She would have been the perfect coach.
