Best of luck with all that you seek! Always treasure the adventure!
I only found out about the treasure when I saw the news article it had been found. I just want the solution to the WWWH clue.!!
sorry but this poem and treasure sounds like total bullshit. How the hell can you find it if you cant identify WWWH on a map? BUT you HAVE TO GO THERE….Nobody finds that disturbing and contradictive? I think he just wanted to sell books imo. Over 10 years and it still isn’t found….def bullshit
Fenn has said The most common mistake that I see searchers make is that they underestimate the importance of the first clue. If you don’t have that one nailed down you might as well stay home and play Canasta. hes also said once you figure out the first two clues the rest of the clues get easier. hes also said searchers have figured out the first two clues and walked past the other 7 so you must be able to find WWWH and know you have found it before you have found the treasure chest, id like to think you can find WWWH without being BOTG first
That’s a Very Mysterious video…mmmm…?
The ■…is Somewhere Out there..?
I Know For Fact..Forrest & God Knows..Where..!
I know.
It takes a little imagination to realize it’s confirmed in the poem.. but the key is to use your imagination to realize it
where warm . (thermopolis) Waters Halt.. (theres a dam there) ? ?
The more I learn, the less I know 😕
Would it be a Hot Springs with a creek(stream) that travels down(Canyon) and at a ledge or waterfall goes over and Down into the canyon? Would be why you can walk it? and leads to Brown.
I’m very new to the ‘chase’ and have become fascinated by watching and listening to Forrest’s interviews. What an absolutely charming and brilliant man! There is a spiritual connection I wonder if everyone is missing? This was to be Forrest’s final resting place. He mentions he’s not religious, but is spiritual…WWWH is not far, but too far to walk. I wish I lived closer…Maine is much too far away! I would love to test my ‘wisdom’. Truly, I would also love to return the turquoise bracelet to Forrest. It’s my birthstone, and although I would treasure it forever, it should be with whom it was meant to be.
FF has said everything you need to find TC is in the poem, so yes you can find WWWH in the poem, it’s in there. great vid God bless y’all.
The poem confirms WWWH but you have to connect the O’s and use the info that confirms the location.
Yes. Use logic to do it. I will differ with Forrest in that one CAN know they are in the correct general area even BEFORE receiving the chest. I don’t have it yet. LOL
WWWH – find it where some of the very few Steam trains stop [ HALT ]. i’m pretty sure thats what FF mean.
Hi Jenny: as I posted over on your MW pages, in addition to the "nothing about it will be accidental" ATF, there are two more that convince me that WWWH is confidently solvable without BOTG:
#1 MW Q&A (7/1/2014): "Dear Forrest, You tell us that we should find ‘where warm waters halt’ before trying to solve any of the other clues. Imagining that we haven’t seen the rest of the poem, and all we have to go on is: a. “begin it where warm waters halt” and b. “somewhere in the mountains north of Santa Fe” Do you think that we can confidently determine the starting place for your treasure trail? ~ Steve”
FF: “No, if all you have to go on are those two clues you cannot proceed with confidence." (Seems to imply proceeding with confidence is possible, but not if all you have is the a. and b. of Steve’s question.)
#2 From SB 73: "My guess is that the person who is successful will very quietly solve the clues and walk to the treasure with a smile on their face."
Thank you for the great vids. I’m wondering if any one has ever had a pinpoint location like a 10 ft. × 10 ft area. Or mostly just valleys ,mountains or general areas?
Scrapbook one hundred and sixty seven but in the url its says this (/2017/02/25/scrapbook-one-hundred-sixty-six-2/)
– How much progress can be made by someone just thinking and searching the Internet from home? (Another way of saying this: How many clues can only be decoded in situ?)
FF: All of them, in theory, but not likely in practice. A searcher must go to the site to find the treasure.
I can’t wait to share how the puzzle came together for me. BOTG September 20!!!

I don’t believe so. My solve for that clue is any town in the Rocky Mountains. Halt is a complete stop and I take the words in the poem very seriously. The only ways I can think of to satisfy a flow of water halting is at a dam or in a bath tub, sink, or other type of container. Forrest excluded dams. He also described warm as "comfortable" so it’s scrub a dub dub in the tub for me. There are many towns in the Rocky Mountains and nearly all are north of Santa Fe.
I believe it’s a process of narrowing down a viable WWWH to a specific town or house by solving subsequent clues and you’re over half way there when you do. Seems like five clues including WWWH would be needed before leaving the canasta game. Anyone knows where a cow poke can get a hot bath round here?
if you have all nine clues the poem falls into place and the book and poem marry themselfs together if you have read TOTC more than 3 times and know poem by heart the hints n clues will start falling in place,
I think this is simply more Fennnspeak, Jenny.
Definition of Confirm – establish the truth or correctness of (something previously believed, suspected, or feared to be the case).
Say I find something in TTOTC that I believe is the place where Mr. Fenn points us to the correct WWWH and I’m actually right ( meaning this place is where Mr. Fenn gave the hint to point us to the correct WWWH). Regardless of how confident that I’m right and even though I have actually confirmed the correct WWWH in the example above, I can only truly know I have confirmed it 100% once I find the chest or someone else does.
Basically, regardless of if there is or isn’t a way to confirm WWWH, it is impossible for anyone but Mr. Fenn to actually truly confirm anything until the chest is found first.
A needle in a haystack. many haystacks many magnets. Well if you’re not familiar with the West you’re Clueless. Believe you me one has to go and their Mind’s Eye where Forrest had been all the young age and where he would like to be buried.
Regarding the first clue(WWWH), Mr. Fenn said, "if you don’t have that one nailed down, you may as well stay home and play canasta." In other words, WWWH has to be determinable before you leave home.
As always, I look forward to your videos and insight. "The little girl from India cannot get closer than the first two clues." FF said. So, since BOTG was not mentioned by him, I assume ‘she’ could ‘solve’ the first two clues from her home. Poor kid, looks like she’ll need a plane ticket after all lol.
So it’s basically a needle in the haystack, among many many stacks. Oh, and the needle is invisible…
