California treasures, Horsemen's Park in Bakersfield, Ca.

For those looking to do some exploring in Bakersfield, California. Think about visiting an old barn across from Hart Park. There’s some history inside and a tradition of people putting their boots on the wall. We also talk about the water wheel, built in the 20s. It’s still across the street in ruins.

I have a question how’s life living cost in Bakersfield? Like rental, jobs stuff like that? Is it better safer than Los Angeles? I heard that in the spring and summer it’s smell in Bakersfield like cow poop is it true?

The sign that reads "Don’t abandon your animals, its cruel…" is there because people regularly dump cats and sometimes dogs, turtles, chickens, etc. The people who come to feed the animals are all volunteers that take the initiative & expense upon themselves. Some volunteers go through the steps of trapping/transporting in order to spay/neuter & tend to wounds, infections, etc. Thank you for the video 😊
