AVOID living in St. George Utah—UNLESS you can handle these 5 facts.
St. George, Utah, is an idyllic desert community without any flaws. Well, maybe we’re being a little overly enthusiastic. There are actually quite a few things in particular that, if you can’t handle them, then don’t move here.

Looks like Moab or Sedona but not messed up by tourism! THanks for the video

    eeeeeeeeee lol
You didn’t mention residual radiation from atomic testing in nearby Nevada 😁

I wish I’d seen this video 7 years ago before I moved here from OC. It’s one big plus back then was homes cost a lot less than in OC but it you’re thinking of moving here from someplace in the mid-west, like Michigan, homes here are a lot more. (A neighbor of mine is from MI). Development here is like Orange County, CA in the ’60s. I was there, it’s the same, only higher density.

I agree with you on everything but don’t make it sound like everyone is walking around carrying a gun or rifle. I’d say Huntington Beach is more gun happy than St. George/Washington.

The agent who sold my house in south OC (For a record breaking price!!! ) is a KW agent.

I don’t think you people have spent much time, if any, in St. George, Utah. The only time St. George is Hot and Dry is in the Summer between the hours of 10 AM and 7 PM. Frankly, most people are indoors during those hours and on the trails before and after. Don’t like the heat. Drive 40 miles up to 10,500 feet Cedar Breaks Area, or Little Switzerland in Pine Valley (Dixie National Forest). YES, Guns are a plus and TRUMP is too ! California Non-Grata. Shopping – Amazon. Grocery – Harmon’s. Nothing around St. George except millions of acres of BLM land to play and camp. Not to mention numerous World Class National Parks, National Forrest, National Monuments, and State Parks (challenged by no others).

I agree. Don’t move here. We have plenty!

    Dramatic scenery.
    Numerous outdoor activities.
    Lots of sprawl.
Largely single family homes that are a shade of beige.
Residents bike for exercise but not to run errands or to go to work.
The Washington County Conservation District plays fast and loose with water use and funding for the Lake Powell Pipeline.
    Water features in the desert.
Very little diversity. Conformity and uniformity are the goals.
Think white 250 Rams, hair product and the Utah paunch.

Enough people there already so thank you for chasing the Californians away.

  9. evhbombastic on November 23, 2022 at 10:45 pm

Why do you two people live in St. George if you’re so picky. Please go back to California if it is so disagreeable to live in So. Utah. You won’t be missed.

St. George is a great place! I’m from the Northern part of Utah but spend a lot of time in St. George my husband’s Drs are there and yes you are right it has an awesome hospital. It’s always best to take a trip and see if you like the area. And the internet has a lot of information on any place in the world you want to live before you make the leap of moving.

This summer was a rainy rainy rainy Utah St. George summer
I don’t know how it was just really extremely rainy the rainiest ever my backyard flooded for maybe about two months and get me I live at the edge of St. George Utah right next to Arizona where it’s a complete Desert

    leftist should NOT COME

  13. NextPlanB on November 23, 2022 at 10:54 pm

Californians thinking everything should be like California. If I moved to St. George why would I be wanting a highly acclaimed restaurant, and trendy shopping. I hope Californians don’t pollute this wonderful area.

  14. Eustace Courage on November 23, 2022 at 10:57 pm

how did you "invasive species" end up in SW Utah? Also,I hope you’re better realtors than you are video editors, the video is so out of sync.

  15. jeandunne on November 23, 2022 at 10:58 pm

OH NO! Guns in Utah! Ok, please just stay away. Please.

  16. Cloud Strife on November 23, 2022 at 11:01 pm

You guys left out one thing the diversity of people and how many color people can’t find jobs because these companies want more white people to represent their company rather than being diverse. Trust me I’ve been here 12 years and still can’t do anything with my education I have. I am a parent of 2 kids!! How the hell am I suppose to provide them a great future with this one problem here!!

  17. Nolan Powe on November 23, 2022 at 11:02 pm

Living in St. George was actually better for me than living in Utah county, because not only was Vegas an hour drive, but the environment is so homemade, minus the summer of course

  18. gerri abdollah on November 23, 2022 at 11:03 pm

WHY did you move here! I feel like you were looking down on our area. Maybe somewhere else would be better for you. If you need help packing let me know

  19. Jo Litsinger on November 23, 2022 at 11:04 pm

I left California to get away from people like this.

  20. JNFE on November 23, 2022 at 11:04 pm

Is this the new Real Estate movement on Youtube? Don’t move "here." This video campaign is everywhere now for realtors.

  25. David Brodsky on November 23, 2022 at 11:11 pm

The FIRST thing she said was if you move to St George your hands will bleed from dryness…. Your hands WILL bleed. Lol.
Points 1, 2 and 3, are bleeding hands, hicks with guns and poor shopping. Nuff said.
