rattle snakes as a rule only go about 25 feet in a mine entrance. But miner’s cats , cougars’ and mountain lions as well as bats, rats, mice, and pigs and Skunks, an Occasionally coyote . Also an oxygen meter would be of tremendous help just for your own safety if you plan on making this a reoccurring theme.

What you guys should bring with you is a couple pieces of sidewalk chalk to mark your path when you come up to a branch tunnels

Don’t go into old mines, especially if you are a complete idiot like these two. Someone will get hurt. And also – isn’t this guy ripping off Tom Massie’s Gold Fever character from his old TV how by the same name? This cheap, thoughtless YouTube crap really bothers me as it tries to mindlessly mock/exploit actual creative Americans who are capable of providing real, valuable, content for those of who seek learning or quality entertainment. Big thumbs down from me.

I’ve seen a ladder like that before in NV. Economy of materials, is all it is. You must be south of me, in Kingman.
