Arizona Amethyst Mine // Inside the Four Peaks Mine

A unique kind of amethyst gem can be found in the Four Peaks Mountains, east of Phoenix, Arizona. The small mine is accessible only by helicopter or a long hike up.
A husband and wife mining team live at the site several months through the year.
