Great piece of history, but the tower is like one in UK. wood was placed in the slots for access up which could have been taken out to stop someone following the monk to top. the roof access would not have been there when it was built but a later addition. Just thought it needed explaining. 😉

Josh watched all your stuff massive fan especially the Nazi stuff treasure and history finds. Am going nuts over Treasure Quest in Western Bolivia. They found a tunnel that led to water drop off and ended there. This investigation would be a tremendous opportunity investigation into treasure Mystery. Please help as I know there are millions 🙏 wanting the same. On the same note your Nazi tunnel and gold in the green house need updating thanks heaps

I enjoy the shows a lot, but much of them are staged, both for our entertainment and for Josh to have a little fun I suspect…There is one show were Josh and his "guide" are racing around a forest in Germany on quads….All great fun, but from the drone footage you can clearly see it’s an off road course of some type…Another time in Scotland he abseils down a rock face to get access to the lake shore at the bottom, but later shots showed it would have been easier just to walk around to the side lol ….Still, I love the fact Josh doesn’t take himself or his quests too seriously, and look forward to another series..

I may be wrong, but I think the holes in the tower were for climbing. The size of the holes can probably hold a piece of carefully crafter wood to create a rung type system liken that of ships for climbing up the tower. It’s a guess. But might be for escape or for getting away. If a rope ladder was ever used, there would be evidence of it. But I suspect it was meant to be a secret passage.
Josh is the best in all ways! Funny, good looking, smart, with a never-ending quest to find treasures and to learn about history. I think that Expedition Unknown is one of the best shows on TV. I always look forward to watching his show(s).
