Awesome specimens
Lovely work. Thank you for sharing. Wow. Where did you hunt rocks in New Mexico? And hope your recovery is full and fast.
We’re the last ones you cut from Mexico?
Hello MRM! I am a New Mexican and I live in Las Cruces, I would have loved to go rockhunting with you! Maybe whenever you come to southern N.M. we can go!!!
There are a lot of people who dont represent N.M. like it should be, represented, so thank you for showing New Mexicos potential. There is a lot more here than just agates!
I’m from New Mexico my son LOVES rocks an gems!! Where can I take him for a easy “Treasure Hunt” to rock his world??
Please tell me a slab of something with black red and white I need something for decorations I want to visit there but then now I’m too old
Sorry to hear about the gallbladder surgery! Hope you heal completely!
Always love your videos!
Hillbilly Rockhound
Also, what is thatsaw called and where can we search for equipment?
* WOW The first rocks you cut were Fabulous.. the banding is so Pretty.. They seem to get better as you went!! Congrats ! ! The last pieces at the 22:00 mark are SEAM Agate. they formed between 2 layers & filled the Seam. Therefore, Seam Agate.. Really fabulous,,
I really enjoyed this video, but I think your content would shine a bit brighter if you toned down the animations between shots. They somewhat distract from the video itself. Sorry if that sounded a bit harsh, phrasing constructive criticism in a straightforward yet polite way is tricky. I can’t wait to see more of your videos. (also, happy holidays)
GIVE US A COURSE TEACHING US HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST ANGLE TO CUT IT, PLEASE!
I hope you recovered well from your surgery
Glad surgery went well loved the white agate plus the brown
Crazy lace is so special 👍💞
what part of New Mexico does your mom live in
Why does everybody who post something on YouTube have to talk about their personal life instead of what we are looking on YouTube for why I just want to know like why would anybody care about anybody’s gallbladder like I don’t understand
I would love to know where you rockhounded at here in Cruces?!! Was it Picacho peak?
Fibrous malachite is likely toxic.
Those rocks are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
I’m Where in NM did you get all these beauties!?!! Did you find the stones or buy them to slab? I am right next door in AZ and would love to know how and where to find these beautiful agates!! Thanks for sharing all of this! Do you sell the slabs then?
Beautiful specimens in this video!
Do u have a flashlight to shine underneath so we can see?!
Love that saw. Would you be willing to share what brand and type it is?
What do you do with all the rocks that you collect besides cutting them open? Do you make anything out of them?
Love your cutting video’s!
Gorgeous! I need to get down to the Deming area soon.
You are genuinely delighted like a child opening a present. I am delighted to watch.
Amazing New Mexico agates!! The white banding line that you mention in 12:12 I believe is onyx. Our agates we find are accompanied by onyx. It makes a really nice contrast. Can’t wait to go over there… it’s on the bucket list!😄
Thanks for sharing. Just a thought, and you probably already do this but preserving these beautiful specimens and just cutting/polishing windows in them really gives a great perspective of the mineral in rough and polished state.
I spent a few months in Deming for work. Totally agree that it’s paradise for Rockhounds. Every weekend I filled my backpack at rockhound park and would also frequent the shops in town and Lordsburg. Found a cool desert Jasper spot just north of town too. Think I drove back with over 400 lbs of rock.
You keep your Dragoon so clean! Awesome you’ll have it forever. I need to get one of these. I’ve been a Plein Air Painter for 20+ Years and studied in Taos for many years. I often rockhounded the areas I went. I moved to California several years ago and I’m painting on location and rockhounding out here. What a mind explosion this state is. Love your Videos/channel. You give me such great inspiration to explore more.
11:47 makes you think of the Amazon from above the clouds – stunning
Stunning ❤❤
Rock Mom…you are a delight to watch. I, too, get such a sense of awe at times! And, I haven’t heard "Holy Cow" for ages! Keep enjoying and sharing, Blessings, Meg
Cómo se llama el serrucho con que cortaste el agate y dónde los consigues me podrías decir por favor
I could be wrong, but I think that you’ve found “Moss Agate”. 🙂
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: You always provide beautiful videos. Always a treat to start my day with you!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
WOW, I’d love to have made the kitchen & bathroom countertops made using these slabs of leftover pieces!
That would definitely be the BEST EVER for any home!
What part of Montana?
My god, each one is so beautiful . Thank you.
at 15:10 my jaw hit the floor and made me want a Drogon of my own!!
Gold!🫣👀
I really like watching Montana Rock Mom.
I have a large piece of petrified wood from New Mexico.
Just wanted to say
again how much I like the Montana Rock Mom channel !!!
There are some really good gravel bars in Kentucky as well!
How do you decide how to cut? I’m just learning.. and no matter which way I choose.. the other way is better..!! I’ve ruined so many rocks.. been practicing with small ones.. that I end up quartering .. your rocks are amazing@!!
Where did you hound those in nm?
I love rock hounding in New Mexico. The spring in the desert is my favorite time. Beautiful wild flowers, awesome weather, and great rock hunting. Winter isn’t bad either.
I find massive rocks like that. If like 10 pounds is massive.lol I am saving for a saw to start cutting and see what’s in them.
👍
