The Texans don’t have to trade him, they own his player rights, so if he retires and tries to come back the Texans still got him, he can give up between 21 – 28 million if the Texans accept it. Then he can not play and being fines 650,000 a game. Houston doesn’t have a problem , Watson has a problem. It doesn’t matter if he likes it or not.

This is the second worst part of the NFL after major serious injuries. Owners holding guys hostage that don’t want to be there for a reasonable reason.
