As a non Arizona person the state is so beautiful, but let me ask a serious question.
I think Arizona has almost every poisonous spider that exists in North America.
When you’re working in the garage with the door open, do you get spiders walking in?
Seems like you’d have to wear gloves all the time?

  2. Connie Chamberlain on November 13, 2021 at 5:44 am

Can’t say much for the drivers.

  3. Julie on November 13, 2021 at 5:47 am

I’m a new subscriber , so am just catching up. How far it is to the nearest town ? Thanks for sharing the scenery.

  4. Hester Potts on November 13, 2021 at 5:47 am

Enjoyed your trip very much, but please get closer to old buildings and such and take a few moments to look at them. Overall, we love your travels! (Stuck at home in Texas)

I really believed that Elon Musk should have placed the battery operation plant here in Yuzza AZ instead of north of Reno NV. Bill Gates purchased 10,000 acres several acres in Tonopah AZ. for future city build.

Just a lil north of you……the flowers are the reason we are called Golden Valley ! …:)

What a great road trip. Thanks for sharing. We will be in Northern Arizona later this year and hope to enjoy some of this incredible scenery. An excellent way for a relaxing day out within natures best. I just hope the poster here keeps a good supply of water, gas, tools and a couple tires with him. We will be prepared when we head out to the desert.

"Like the eagle, a good philosopher soars alone, not in flocks, like doves and theologians" – Galileo, and if he was alive today no doubt he would add in "or UTV and Harley riders"

We never got to go to the Abandoned mines.

Great video man I live in Payson. Arizona is truly a beautiful place.

  17. steve laue on November 13, 2021 at 6:01 am

Pretty nice five minute video in thirty-six minutes……. Seriously, if you’re going to make videos for public consumption, you should learn a little more about what you are showing. There is no such thing as a "soccorro" cactus. It’s saguaro. pronounced sah-WAA-row. The pink flowers you pointed out were on prickly pear cactus. You got the Joshua trees right, but you could make your video a lot more informative.

What a life style! Live in nature!

  26. Charles Owens on November 13, 2021 at 6:08 am

You did not go far enough keep going up the road. You will come to the MINE that the road is named after .

  27. Under The Drone on November 13, 2021 at 6:09 am

The mine in the distance beyond the abandoned mine shaft is active again. If you would have gone a few mile further you would have found a really cool and big abandoned mine.

  28. Steve Hatfield on November 13, 2021 at 6:10 am

If you’re not the lead dog, the scenery never changes!

  29. Manny Moto 1 on November 13, 2021 at 6:11 am

  30. Lindsay Zipprich on November 13, 2021 at 6:14 am

Was that Alamo Lake Road? Have you been down on the trails along this road. There is Maggie’s wash with a slot canyon and other sites.

  31. Roy Lamphear on November 13, 2021 at 6:15 am

Is there boondocking around Boriana Mine Road?

  32. Joel Drew Walden [King, M. L. ES] on November 13, 2021 at 6:18 am

You should do a video of white hills

  33. The Midnight Rambler on November 13, 2021 at 6:18 am

Where you stopped and flew the drone, the second time, wasn’t the Boriana mine. It was the Antler mine. The Copper World and Boriana mines are a few miles up the road.

  34. Rose Ann on November 13, 2021 at 6:19 am

  35. J Burnett on November 13, 2021 at 6:22 am

That was so much fun. The castus is a saguaro. I appreciate people who appreciate the desert and can see the beauty.

  40. Dean Olson on November 13, 2021 at 6:29 am

Hi Prospector Dean here..thx for posting! The mines in this wash/gulch were mined primarily for Tungsten, including the actual Boriana Mine.

  41. The Midnight Rambler on November 13, 2021 at 6:29 am

I live in the area and have been up to, and past the Boriana Mine many times, over the years. On the way up there, the Antler mine is just off to the left, on the lower part. Farther up, and off to the right is the Copper World mine. These two are interesting, too.

  42. Charles Bauer on November 13, 2021 at 6:29 am

I would love to take my 5 horse mini bike for a ride out there

Great scenery…but who care$ about rocks?

  47. Crozbyguy on November 13, 2021 at 6:38 am

The mine tailings have limonite, lots of iron, that’s what carries the gold. I knew sooner or later you’d hit pay dirt. So C’mon, let’s go.
