Is there boondocking around Boriana Mine Road?

  2. Joel Drew Walden [King, M. L. ES] on July 8, 2021 at 12:45 pm

You should do a video of white hills

  3. Hester Potts on July 8, 2021 at 12:45 pm

Enjoyed your trip very much, but please get closer to old buildings and such and take a few moments to look at them. Overall, we love your travels! (Stuck at home in Texas)

  4. Layton Haese on July 8, 2021 at 12:45 pm

I love it when you let the camera run

  5. Desert Blacksmith on July 8, 2021 at 12:47 pm

Just a lil north of you……the flowers are the reason we are called Golden Valley ! …:)

  6. Connie Chamberlain on July 8, 2021 at 12:47 pm

Can’t say much for the drivers.

  7. Connie Chamberlain on July 8, 2021 at 12:47 pm

I love watching. All this your showing me,will never get to see.

  8. steve laue on July 8, 2021 at 12:51 pm

Pretty nice five minute video in thirty-six minutes……. Seriously, if you’re going to make videos for public consumption, you should learn a little more about what you are showing. There is no such thing as a "soccorro" cactus. It’s saguaro. pronounced sah-WAA-row. The pink flowers you pointed out were on prickly pear cactus. You got the Joshua trees right, but you could make your video a lot more informative.

  9. Charles Bauer on July 8, 2021 at 12:52 pm

I would love to take my 5 horse mini bike for a ride out there

  10. Cactus Jack on July 8, 2021 at 12:56 pm

Hey RVer – just discovered your channel. Well done! Really enjoy the minimalist approach (no overpowering music, sound effects, etc.) Nice calm narrative. Very enjoyable. Feels like we are traveling with you.

As a non Arizona person the state is so beautiful, but let me ask a serious question.
I think Arizona has almost every poisonous spider that exists in North America.
When you’re working in the garage with the door open, do you get spiders walking in?
Seems like you’d have to wear gloves all the time?

  13. triblemusic on July 8, 2021 at 1:02 pm

    Awesome job thanks for sharing.
Can you drive out there and camp.

  14. Richard Wernars on July 8, 2021 at 1:03 pm

    I love your vancave.

  15. Willy John on July 8, 2021 at 1:03 pm

Russ, that is not the Boriana mine it is much larger that that and it is further up the road. This road takes you up into the high country which is another world. You can ride all the way to Kingman on the mountain ridges

  16. Rose Ann on July 8, 2021 at 1:05 pm

    Hey Russ!😄
    Cool Video!👏👏
Thanks for taking Us along to see all the Awesome Views!😄🇺🇸

  17. J Burnett on July 8, 2021 at 1:06 pm

That was so much fun. The castus is a saguaro. I appreciate people who appreciate the desert and can see the beauty.

  18. Richard Be Happy on July 8, 2021 at 1:09 pm

I really believed that Elon Musk should have placed the battery operation plant here in Yuzza AZ instead of north of Reno NV. Bill Gates purchased 10,000 acres several acres in Tonopah AZ. for future city build.

  19. AdventureMom ILoveMyLife on July 8, 2021 at 1:13 pm

I’m considering buying bare land in AZ,any advise for this middle aged female retiring home mom?I have an rv and I raised my boys on n a small farm in the rain forest on the Oregon valley floor of the Cascades and now I want to not see many trees or rain anymore :)dirt roads, and scenery is what I’m searching for.

  20. The Midnight Rambler on July 8, 2021 at 1:15 pm

I live in the area and have been up to, and past the Boriana Mine many times, over the years. On the way up there, the Antler mine is just off to the left, on the lower part. Farther up, and off to the right is the Copper World mine. These two are interesting, too.

  25. Lead Pill on July 8, 2021 at 1:19 pm

Great scenery…but who care$ about rocks?

  26. Under The Drone on July 8, 2021 at 1:20 pm

The mine in the distance beyond the abandoned mine shaft is active again. If you would have gone a few mile further you would have found a really cool and big abandoned mine.

  27. Manny Moto 1 on July 8, 2021 at 1:21 pm

    Cool!

  28. David Martindale on July 8, 2021 at 1:21 pm

Great video man I live in Payson. Arizona is truly a beautiful place.

  29. Dean Olson on July 8, 2021 at 1:22 pm

Hi Prospector Dean here..thx for posting! The mines in this wash/gulch were mined primarily for Tungsten, including the actual Boriana Mine.

  30. Rein Baker on July 8, 2021 at 1:23 pm

    Great video

  31. Ken Remple on July 8, 2021 at 1:24 pm

Thanks for the ride. Take care. 🙂

  32. Crozbyguy on July 8, 2021 at 1:24 pm

The mine tailings have limonite, lots of iron, that’s what carries the gold. I knew sooner or later you’d hit pay dirt. So C’mon, let’s go.

  33. Mr T on July 8, 2021 at 1:25 pm

I feel you might be the “Mr Rodgers” of the dessert .

  34. The Midnight Rambler on July 8, 2021 at 1:25 pm

Where you stopped and flew the drone, the second time, wasn’t the Boriana mine. It was the Antler mine. The Copper World and Boriana mines are a few miles up the road.

  35. George Smith on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

Enjoy your travels, do you live near Kingman?

  36. Charles Owens on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

You did not go far enough keep going up the road. You will come to the MINE that the road is named after .

  37. Chuck Stith on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

A 50 foot graded road! My Corvette will make it there

  38. Lindsay Zipprich on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

Was that Alamo Lake Road? Have you been down on the trails along this road. There is Maggie’s wash with a slot canyon and other sites.

  39. Pete Blum on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

  40. Weekend RVing on July 8, 2021 at 1:26 pm

  41. dlagrua on July 8, 2021 at 1:32 pm

What a great road trip. Thanks for sharing. We will be in Northern Arizona later this year and hope to enjoy some of this incredible scenery. An excellent way for a relaxing day out within natures best. I just hope the poster here keeps a good supply of water, gas, tools and a couple tires with him. We will be prepared when we head out to the desert.

"Like the eagle, a good philosopher soars alone, not in flocks, like doves and theologians" – Galileo, and if he was alive today no doubt he would add in "or UTV and Harley riders"
