Abandoned Colorado Mine Exploration
Abandoned Colorado Mine Exploration
In this weeks exploration video FREE4ALL explores an Abandoned Mine that is located somewhere in Colorado. *DON’T ASK WHERE!* The last time this mine was used was in 1977. We were able to find many old mine carts and other pieces of equipment the miners once used! It was a very cool location.

NEW Exploration video every Sunday!
I would be shocked if this is not a patent. Private property = Trespassing
Hi my name is David and I explore abandoned mines and make YouTube on it if you could go over to my channel and then go to my Facebook link and send me a message I had a few questions about your channel thanks.
Lead and silver mine. Should wear PPE and resperators. Gilman, CO.
Where is this? I need to go harvest some of those tools and stuff! They would be useful where I work! And I have all of my safety gear for going in safely.
I would be careful walking through that water it could be contaminated or electrocute you!!!
this is cool an all but i disliked it becouse of the lack of safty equipmont. You should never ever do that without proper equipment. You could have died like many others!!
Two Questions : First, what did they mine there? and Second, when are you going to show us the rest of the mine?
Do you guys really know what you are doing and what your’re looking at?? Did you have air monitors on you to detect if you were walking into bad air?
I’m Surprise you guys didn’t get lose
I know of some mineral mines outside of Georgetown on i70 think you could help me with some coordinates to this location?
Hey free just ran across your channel And would love for you to PM me when ever you get the chance i want to share a location with you
453 Detroit diesel at 4:15
Glad to natice to such a beautiful place
Ah shit that’s where I left my dolly.. I’ve been looking for that for years.
Is that the eagle mine?
Forgot to add, that if you were narrating what you were walking through, we couldn’t hear you as there was barely any audio. Looked like it was an interesting, abandoned mine, but you 3 didn’t do the "explore" of it justice……and you also went in un-safely!
I know where this is. You guys are lucky you didnt breathe in toxic air or ingest toxic water. The site is actually a superfund site for the EPA.
This mine was used in the 90’s… no self rescuers or respirators. Dumb.
Nice little find, but please stay safe. Use hard hats and gas detectors.
And I didn’t like the camera work very much, too much shaking and too fast pans.
Happy exploring guys!
Wear hard hats at gas monitors please. Wet tunnels with corroding metals sometimes create gas pockets. You would be dead before you hit the floor.
That’s the eagle mine near minturn.
Gilman, CO welcome
I’m always amazed at the amount of equipment I find abandoned in some mines and this one appears to have an above-average collection of mining equipment. I try not to tell other explorers what to do but it would be wise to at least have hard hats and O2 meters. This mine looked well ventilated since it appeared there was an opening to the outside at the end of one adit but there was an awful lot of ground fall at the entrance. When someone gets injured Bureau of Land Management is quick to blast the adits shut. Besides, a rock bouncing off your head hurts like hell…until you pass out. That’s when your friends pull your pants down and paint your toenails. At any rate, this was a really cool mine. Thanks for sharing. And by all means – don’t tell anyone where it is!
