Abandoned Arizona Mine Explored – Bradshaw Mountains

Abandoned Arizona Mine Explored – Bradshaw Mountains

We discovered an old abandoned mine while on an expedition through the Bradshaw Mountains so we checked it out. It is a pretty extensive mine with lots of cool wooden structures, ore shoots, flooded mines, ore cart rail tracks, mill site, and core samples.

I literally drive by here once a month. Crazy freaky and interesting. Does anyone know the history of the mine?

  2. Ginger Bread on March 24, 2023 at 8:46 am

I will keep an eye out. Thank you for writing me.

  3. Kingofgrowers on March 24, 2023 at 8:50 am

Are there any videos where the producer is on a hunt for minerals ? Seems all these vids are geared toward finding the end of the mine and movin on ?! I prospect. You guys could spend a little more time on the mine specifics . Thanks for what you are doing… it is more than me , and I whine …hahahaha. OOOps

  4. ronald marberry on March 24, 2023 at 8:52 am

Unfortunately since this video came out the blm had torn down all the structures and bulldozed and imploded all of the adits it doesn’t take the government long once you put them on you tube

  5. Pilot Institute on March 24, 2023 at 8:53 am

That was awesome! Thanks for sharing.

  7. th3azscorpio on March 24, 2023 at 8:55 am

Awesome video! I love stuff like this. Also, thanks for not putting a whole lot of music over this. The extreme quietness adds to the unsettling creepiness factor.

  8. Ginger Bread on March 24, 2023 at 8:55 am

Great mine & you had great light. Thank you

  9. A Amado on March 24, 2023 at 8:58 am

  11. Real Life Clean Living on March 24, 2023 at 9:05 am

There is so much to see in this video it’s quite a marvel to see! This place looks like a maze, I’d be afraid to get lost… Great job navigating this and thanks for showing us what you found! Great work!

  12. iiLegit 312 on March 24, 2023 at 9:06 am

Awsome video! By any chance would you be willing to give directions to this location?

  14. Dave Johnson on March 24, 2023 at 9:06 am

I’m guessing you’ve not done much mine exploration. My guess also is you won’t do many more . Your lighting is great but the way you maneuver is quite dangerous to your future among the living.

  15. Todd Hoffmaster on March 24, 2023 at 9:08 am

Did you go past the Bad Air posting? Is there plenty to see before that sign?

  16. john cimino on March 24, 2023 at 9:10 am

Amazing video, thanks for sharing, you guys are very brave going in there👍

  17. Retired Renegade Adventures on March 24, 2023 at 9:10 am

As always, great job. When I was there I wanted to do the flooded one too. I did not find Adit 2 though, so I guess I have to go back now!

  18. Off-Roading Arizona on March 24, 2023 at 9:11 am

Wow the most EXTREME mine exploration video I have ever seen. You guys have balls.

Expedition Offroad, so my buddies wanna start exploring mines in the Arizona area so I was wondering if maybe you could give us some ideas on what mines are still open

  22. Anon Ymous on March 24, 2023 at 9:20 am

It’s official name is the Swastika Mine (yes this mine was started in the 1800s before Germany made it a symbol of hate during the 1900s) it was originally a symbol of peace and prosperity. It’s an interesting place to explore but parts are flooded during certain times of the year and if you don’t have the proper equipment you can suffocate so be safe and have fun exploring

this was a PREQUEL to HILLS HAVE EYES 8…………the beginning

  24. Robert Lyman on March 24, 2023 at 9:24 am

Can you imagine all the time and effort to erected all the wood structures and supports? Where did all the wood come from?

  25. Mike summerhill on March 24, 2023 at 9:24 am

hey Guys if your going to explore, please be educated on proper terminology and safe practices and know the workings of a mine so the people who are knowledgeable and those that aren’t know that you know what you are doing in a mine. I have 30 years exploring mines. So when narrarating provide accurate information. Have fun and be safe.

  26. bucking fitch on March 24, 2023 at 9:26 am

I live nearby and would love go on an adventure like that

  27. Kirk Kirkland on March 24, 2023 at 9:26 am

Man I’m surprised that you don’t get lost or worse! You don’t go by the right hand rule or nothing!!!
Also those false floors are death traps!!!

  28. Newriver Troll on March 24, 2023 at 9:29 am

That mine is called the swastika mine and was primarily a gold mine. I’ve been inside it lots of times and seen lots you guys missed. The flooded tunnel you didn’t go in is not that deep or bad as it looks. If you go straight back, just past the flooded vertical tunnel on left you’ll see a ladder going up on your right. If you climb up to next level you’ll see the most amazing stoped out area, huge resevors of water and awesome mineral formations. The Desoto mine turn off at about mileage marker 14 has even more amazing n colorful mineral formations if you can find the right adit thats hidden by larger tree and dirt mound almost covering the entrance. Check out our short vids on my channel js. 👊 n 👍 for your vid. Subbed ya too…

  29. Gary Bauer on March 24, 2023 at 9:29 am

Do y’all have the right equipment?

  30. ronald marberry on March 24, 2023 at 9:30 am

Looking at it on Google earth looks like the adits are all imploded now and covered over the wooden structures and buildings are all gone now it doesn’t take the blm long once you put it on you tube the rush out and seal them up !

  31. Lee Hilton on March 24, 2023 at 9:30 am

Nice videos. Off-roadin an mine explorin, perfect! Always use the right hand or left hand rule when explorin a mine. You won’t get lost that way. Watch those false floors too. You were on one or damn close when you found that winze in the middle of the floor. My in-laws live in surprise Arizona now. I can’t wait to get the yota out there an explore. Yall be safe out there

  32. H-Guns on March 24, 2023 at 9:32 am

Didn’t take too much to find it. By chance do you have an interior map of it? It would really help us if you did 🙂

  33. painedinks on March 24, 2023 at 9:34 am

I seriously cant ever see too many mine videos, and this one was really awesome! Thx for sharing it! I really enjoyed this one!
