I was prospecting in that area last winter. Didn’t get that much gold but I did like the Geology in that area. I was over by Bagdad in that same trip. Going back this winter to. I live in Wyoming so the Arazona and south Nevada is a nice way to get out of the cold.
Your channel is the coolest!!!
Is that out by Date Creek road…was there, beautiful country, lots of quartz, left quite a bit there my partner said it would grow, don’t kno how that worked out…lol
Can you leave your coordinates?
Love that you include the kiddos, so important to get them outside and exploring!
You talk to your rocks like I do 🤣
where is this ?
Would have be glad to see the bit where you got "emotional" about rock hounding
Being passionate about something has different facets, it’s not always the typical hype or stoked that is easily displayed
Decent people respond well to true emotions, especially those that share the passion. No judgment you do you
Amazing content, thank you for sharing this
Great video. My brother & I have a channel as well. We recently started rock hounding and have found some amazing rock/gems/minerals and crystals.
Love your enthusiasm, and such a great video. You definitely know your rocks.
Ive cystal hunted in Payson and Vernon! Not familiar with phx area. Thank you for posting your video!
Can you send coordinates or where you found such clear quartz? I’ve been there twice looking and all I’ve found is the really milky quartz. I love your videos! 💜
First of all let me say I love your channel.
Great video! A woman after my own heart . I’ve been rockhounding with my Mom for many years, and dragged my son into it (only somewhat reluctantly). It’s hard to find someone who finds rocks adorable! lol Thank you!
An this is worth not shit?ppl just have buckets on there back yards of quarts u probably thought u were a millionaire lol sorry bt look for gold make it worth ur wild
Lol you get so excited when you find something. It is endearing.
Hello friend, I have the same thing you do in your channel (hobby or work) I am this work 👍 Can you share with me on my channel I am looking for new friends😍💎💎👍
I like rocks too! I want a female like you willing to get into stuff and coming out smelling like a rose. LOL. wish I lived in AZ. I would be out all the time. I saw your drywash video.. the desert is so cool too!
That “cute mushroom guy” is a scepter quartz! I’ve heard you can find those out there if you’re lucky!
I would like to go there and look for crystals I went on other side of Goodyear and found lots of the bubbly quartz, but not crystal form.I tried postings photos to show you on here but won’t let me.
Great day on the fan and up in the hills, some nice stuff there Elley!
Awesome video. I’ll have to go there some day and look for Quartz Crystals. AZ is not to far of a drive.
Goethite.
Ok so I tried going there or what I thought it was it and we found like the milky white crystals
Bringing the kids? Any concerns with Rattle Snakes etc… ?
If it wasn’t so far away I’d be there tomorrow. Great finds
You are… ohh so beautiful just like them gems u found ☺🤗 thanks for the content 💜
"Cute" ….rocks? Geologist?
Where is this?
damn how that would be a dream come true, to hike with a geologist who loves to explore.
Parts of that Date Creek area are State Trust Lands, Know the rules before you go there. You are NOT allowed to remove anything, let me repeat, ANYTHING from state trust lands. You must be on BLM lands. There are very small pockets of BLM land out there so KNOW where you are. Fines and penalties are heavy. Happy Responsible Hunting. When digging holes, Please cover them after you are done. There is much to be seen and had out there so please be Responsible and please pack out your trash and bury your waste. Thanks.
no big secret She is at Crystal Hill area near date creek ranch
Wow how awesome!
I’m in the SE, and I just got so excited watching this that I have to comment mid-video: None of my friends understood the bacon rock! I found a whole slew while hunting a river’s gravel bar for agatized coral! yaaaaas that just made my week 🤸🕳️! love the videos! thanks for sharing
Careful for snakes, lol. I always get so nervous when you bend down to quickly grab something. I almost got struck yesterday. I’m on the NM side of the AZ/NM border, up on a mesa in a landlocked area of the Gila and Apache. I’m trying to learn geology and have found some really cool spots to fill my pockets with good rocks to polish. Nothing like you found here yet, but I have some good ideas where to hike to and where no one goes 🙂
🌹
i live in phoenix and while hiking have seen so many exposed quarts veins and clusters in the area. Never really encountered too many terminated crystals, then again i might not know how to properly look for them. Check out quartz ridge trail in phoenix, its absolutely insane the size and amount of quartz you can find there.
What do u recommend i should start reading or learning from if i want to get into rock hounding?
You are a nerd for sure 😜
Meteorite Hunter Gemstone 💎💎☄️☄️👍
Awesome! Beautiful and a geologist. Keep it up.
Did you find some tourmaline in matrix as well? I see striated black that seems to be it.
4:37 "Leaverite" lol 🤣
And here I had thought I had found all of the cool rock-head channels. Obviously saving the best for last. First, don’t call yourself a nerd… it implies weirdness. We are not weird, we are special. I’ve been doing this since I was 8 years old and I will be 67 in a couple of weeks. For almost 10 years, I have not been able to collect due to health issues but I get to live vicariously though channels like yours. Besides, if I put one more rock on my property, it would sink into the earth……deep. I explored a lot in that area years ago so I think I know where you are at. You are too young to have picked up all of that geology lingo on your own so where did you go to school. Looking forward to binge-watching the rest of your videos.
Love it!!
The rocks you’re finding that look like they have faces on them are Native American Effigy stones 👍
make sure is not RADIOACTIVE mines!!!!….
search BEFORE YOU GO THERE.. 😖😖😖
Is that McDowell mountains
Cool! Maybe I can find the area. Think I may have found it but not enough details.
I live in Tucson and live ab 30 minutes away from a big mountain. I’ve found tons of quartz on hikes but I would like to see what wake I can find. Any tips on crystal hunting for a beginner?
I so get your love of rocks. Totally addicted to them myself. 🙂
