I’m glad you listed the really common places that almost every Californian has heard of or been to. Keep the good spots secret and send everyone to the glory hole! Smart! Many other reservoirs have glory holes.
The Glory Hole at Lake Berryessa only happens after consistent heavy rains fill the reservoir. Once every several years it happens. I remember it 2 years ago.
I live near the glory hole, it was really interesting to see when we had the drought a few years ago and the water levels were really low. A town and farms use to be under that lake.

I live in California and just learned of a lot of awesome new facts. I just went hiking in that Bristlecone forest in the Inyo National Forest, and went to Bumpass Hell a few years ago. Most people have no idea that place exists.
