5 REASONS YOU WONT FIND THE LOST DUTCHMANS GOLD myths legends and lies j.schreck

Here are at least 5 reasons that you probably wont find the lost dutchmans gold BUT we hope you do . Yes I would like to be the guy who finds it but in all reality I just wish someone would HAPPY TREASURE HUNTING DR J.SCHRECKThe Superstition Mountains (their name inspired by Pima Indian legends) have been a source of mystery and legend since early times. The area is dotted with ancient cliff dwellings and caves, many showing signs of former habitation. It is not certain who these people were; some believe they were Salado or Hohokam Indians who populated this part of Arizona several centuries ago. Later, Pimas and “Apaches” (some of whom may have been Yavapais) occupied parts of the region. However, the name “Apache” came to be closely associated with the Superstitions, and the mountains became an Apache stronghold in the 1800s.

During the 1840s the Peralta family of northern Mexico supposedly developed rich gold mine(s) in the Superstitions. Their last expedition to carry gold back to Mexico occurred in 1848. According to legend, the large party was ambushed by Apaches, and all were killed except for one or two Peralta family members who escaped into Mexico. This area is known today as the Massacre Grounds.

A number of other people were supposed to have known the mine’s location or even to have worked it. Numerous maps have surfaced over the years, only to become lost or misplaced when interested parties pressed for facts. Men who claimed to have found the Peralta mine were unable to return to it or some disaster occurred before they could file a claim, all adding to the lore of a “lost mine.”

In the 1870s Jacob Waltz, “the Dutchman” (actually a native of Germany), was said to have located the mine through the aid of a Peralta descendant. Waltz and his partner, Jacob Weiser worked the mine and allegedly hid one or more caches of gold in the Superstitions. Most stories place the gold in the vicinity of Weaver’s Needle, a well known landmark. Weiser was killed by Apaches, or according to some, by Waltz himself.

In failing health, Jacob Waltz moved to Phoenix and died some twenty years later in 1891. He supposedly described the mine’s location to Julia Thomas, a neighbor who took care of him prior to his death. Neither she nor dozens of other seekers in the years that followed were able to find the “Lost Dutchman’s Mine.” Subsequent searchers have sometimes met with foul play or even death, contributing to the superstition and legend that surround these mountains.

Many versions of the “Lost Dutchman Mine” story exist, and several books and films have been done on the https://www.facebook.com/edge.psychotic https://twitter.com/edgepsychotic https://vimeo.com/user10537282 #BLACKFLAGEXPEDITION #EXPLOREWITHUS #EXPLOREABANDONED

once you recognize that the people connected with most all stories are freemasons, who are famous for hoaxes….all fake like the freemason oak island money pit hoax…..

The best way to look for it, after doing some research. Is because you love hiking and exploring the superstitions. Just don’t expect to find the dutchman’s that way you won’t be disappointed when you don’t. Just be out there because you love exploring such a beautiful wild place. Not an easy place to explore however because of it’s ruggedness, it’s exhausting…

I’m just here for the treasure hunt stories 💛 Been watching Forrest Fenn treasure hunt videos, too. I’m not an experienced hiker or climber but even those who _are_ haven’t found a thing 🤣 Either the stories are folklore or someone found the gold and quietly walked away with it, which is wise! Look how many jackpot lottery winners get robbed or their houses broken into while they were out or the most sinister of them all- the relatives who suddenly want to spend time with you 🤪

Hey i know that area like the back of my habd. I grew up 5here. You want to hear someyhing that nobody is 0aying attention to. Of your out in the middle of the place you see lots of sea shells. This valley was one big flood plain. Th spanish or one of the fleets from who ever hid that gold. It was necer mined because gold is not possible from a n extinct volcano wich this moubtain range is. I onow the location of gold that has been hidden in this mountain range but dont care about it. It would cosume anybody who even serlt their eyes on it. The dutchman death is one of many who lost their life after coming in to contact with it. Not saying its cursed but some notoriety isn’t worth having Stacy the notoriety that comes with this gold to believe what you want but you know you science even though I’m right is also a map that has been hand carved into this mountain in plain sight the ones they call the goldfields nobody pays attention to all that and points right at the Gold. So in general I bid you farewell a girl pack you horseback riding this whole mountain range for years because I ditched school all the time and that’s was my main thing I know how to live off the land and I know where to get things Atlanta and I know that land like the back of my hands. you guys are so far off it’s ridiculous.

  22. Tim Martinez on May 13, 2020 at 6:08 pm

No the gold is within the mountain. There are endless streams and rivers that travel through out the inner parts. Forget the lost Dutchman’s Gold. It’s within the mountain. If there were any Gold left, get it and say nothing, famous people die quick when they have what everyone wants.
