I know a nice spot that was essayed properly and result was 6.7 grams per tonne , I helped find it when I was a teenager and now I’m 45 years old and only person still alive from back then .
I have to go for a 6 hour drive and check it out see if I can get a permit , there are 3 big quarts reefs there that between quarts and granite leader I was picking out amazing reef gold and all round the spot there’s real good alluvial also and in couple hours shovelling a dry blower I got 3 little nuggets from 1.5 grams upto just over 5 grams . I just hope no one else claimed this spot and that I havnt left it too late haha

Nice reclamation hello from Lightning Ridge Australia,unfortunately due to the decades of intensive opal mining here reclamation would be near impossible but then again we are arid semi desert remote here 🙂

What kind of shovel do you use? Doesn’t look too bad.
At work we use razorbacks, but after a few months heavy use the handle always breaks at some point. Also we regularly split the tip or round them off pretty good…and the small step always slices boots in half over time.
This inspires me greatly but idk where to look! How do these people find the places where gold can be??? It can’t just be anywhere.
