With varied landscapes that range from red rock mesas to snow-capped mountains, New Mexico encapsulates all of the geological features that attract visitors to the American Southwest. No other state, however, has such a unique palette of light-infused colors, which is why so many artists call New Mexico home. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in New Mexico:

So much more to see in New Mexico. This video just touches the beauty and splendor New Mexico has to offer. A must see in my eyes is Acoma Pueblo just west of Albuquerque. Built on a plateau(or Mesa), it is the longest continuiously inhabitited anywhere in the US. Try the Ice Caves west of Albuquerque near Grants. Just another hour west in Gallup, you can shop to your hearts content for Some of the finest Navajo artisans. Spectactular Turquoise jewlery, Hand Woven Rugs of all sizes or stylish pottery from numerous tribes in the area. A great time to visit is in August for the National Indian cermonial. NEW MEXICO….. IT’S WORTH THE VISIT!

Really? Albuquerque?? One of THE most criminally violent cities in the US, and they’re recommending it? Before visiting ABQ, do yourself a favor and search Youtube for "crime albuquerque".

  17. Keith Stone on October 12, 2021 at 3:00 pm

All of these outdoor places are closed because New Mexico is a leftist 🗑 state. Thank you government, I was afraid to catch a virus in the middle of the f****** desert but now I’m safe. Thank you very much.

I lived in Santa Fe for three years. I enjoyed it until I realized how prejudiced against Native Americans people are. Maybe it’s just Santa Fe, Madrid, and Albuquerque. Even city and street names are grossly mispronounced. And deliberately mispronounced. Oh, well, nothing is perfect.

  24. R Brown on October 12, 2021 at 3:06 pm

NEW MEXICO should change it’s name to something more American, terrible name
