Here is some help with finding the correct Forrest Fenn treasure chest location. This is the simplified one-picture, 2-step solution:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/u6pbe4edgs96g4j/Using%20the%20Poem&20as&20Map.jpg?dl=0
First you had to find the "right" triangle similar to the one in the picture on the front cover of Too Far to Walk. Find it by drawing lines ("end drawing nigh") on Google Maps using the Measure function, between 4 map points given in the poem: Casa Marron, NM, home of Brown; Angel Fire, NM, blaze #1; Waters Canyon, CO, read diagonally down from top right corner of poem as shown by the magnetic lines of declination for New Mexico, between 10 and 9 degrees, "there bold, where, and Waters Canyon". The 4th point is not needed but confirmed the solution, Marvel CO, gaze with a starry cant (upward angle) from Marvel, CO to Waters Canyon, then gaze with a starry cant from Marvel to Angel Fire, NM.

Second, you cut out the poem and used it as a map, as instructed in the second poem stanza. Place (begin it) the top right corner on the CO/NM border, where warm waters halt. Then turn the poem body down so it falls over the Rio Grande Canyon ("canyon down"). Then put in the bottom left corner below Casa Marron, the home of Brown in New Mexico.

Then the word "blaze" in the poem points to the treasure location, GPS coordinates 36.6355, -106.2105 – – – –

Hey gentlemen, as a professional courtesy I’ve posted a video to YouTube. I’m not expecting you to love it or agree with it, but it provides concrete answers as to what Fenn was doing in his poem. This is not bait, I’ll tell you flat out it appears he was arranging abbreviations in a certain order and then expanding them into new words and phrases. For instance, "AIH" was to clue you into regions where the American Institute of Hydrology was operational, but AIH was expanded into "As I have" in the first line. There are many more. Folks tend to think it’s boring and moves too slowly so maybe put it on 1.5X speed?

Anyway, my video only covers the first stanza and first line of stanza two, so if you watch to the end (few do, lol) you will see what WWWH was encoding. It appears Fenn was being more gimmicky than we originally thought. (We were thinking poetically and he was making a hybrid crossword puzzle to be misleading.) That’s it. I’m trying to be a good neighbor, not looking for hate mail from enemies. @

Disappointed in them bringing the weird ET antenna guy, heโ€™s a fucking scam. Body language is real but I have no idea if the body language science is that revealing.

Apparently it was actually in Wyoming. But the finder is being coy about where it was specifically found

  18. Foo Chillin on February 19, 2022 at 6:08 am

Well I gotta say first up, F.F has stated in the past the the treasure is not in water and secondly, he didn’t sell his possessions to buy treasure, he is an arts collector that has gathered awesome items over his life time. Nice content though, cheers

Here is the one-picture solution using the poem-as-a-map, as instructed: https://www.dropbox.com/preview/Public/Using%20the%20Poem%20as%20Map.jpg?role=personal

Here are the Google Maps coordinates where you CAN see the actual blaze, the "nn" painted on top of that large flat boulder: 36.6355, -106.2105

Open Google Maps, type in coordinates, then switch to Satellite mode, then zoom to the highest magnification.

Hamish & Andy: can you share what date your video interview with Fenn took place on? It is likely the last interview Forrest did before the chest was found.

  34. Rebecca Mitchell on February 19, 2022 at 6:27 am

Someone just found this treasure 2 weeks ago. Would love to know how close you guys were to it!

Believe it or not those coat hangers can be used to find water in the ground. We used to use them doing farm drainage and called them witching sticks. They move when you walk over an electromagnetic obstruction in the ground like a broken pipe that caused a big wet area
