4:17. If you are a professional play-by-play commentator; you don’t say things like that. You will burn your team every time. Other than recklessly tempting fate; PIT play by play man is horrible. He tries to put some mustard on his goal calls; yet at the same time, he does it under his breath. It ends up sounding half-hearted and annoying.
Dowd is truly a revelation. Such a good shorthanded player; has good hands [ the deflections he can get on net, my goodness ] ; he can scrap; faceoffs are about as good as can be. Jay Beagle is literally the hardest guy to replace on draws in the league. Dowd does as good as anyone could. Hathaway has been a pleasant surprise, too. He toned down the shenanigans and it has paid off.

I was watching the game and I guess it looked to me like he was in Jarry’s space and Jarry couldn’t move around properly. Thought it was the right call. But Jarry is starting to lose it. His streak was good but they never seem to last

I’d like to think I could read the rules of hockey and understand definitively what constitutes goalie interference and yet I’d be wrong every single time it’s challenged or called. Seems like every ref has a different interpretation of what it means and it’s getting really annoying. Before anyone says I’m a pens fan understand I’m not at all. The problem is I could watch that same thing happen against every team and it would be mixed results. There’s 0 consistency lately.
