OMG…I lived and worked in the exact same part of Kansas City that he did and I remember going to the Comedy Sportz Club a few times back in the 80s and 90s! It was my first taste of improv and I loved it! Who knows? I maybe even saw him. How very weird at how very small this world really is.

Man I don’t know if jimmy meant to set up that whole baby Yoda thing but that was an amazing fucking set up.

  6. J Cout on August 2, 2021 at 12:22 am

How come talk shows always show the lamest clips of tv/movies? That clip represents Ted Lasso poorly.

  7. Jackie Herrera on August 2, 2021 at 12:22 am

so is his upstairs neighbor in TL named after his high school teacher?

  8. MrRyelou on August 2, 2021 at 12:22 am

Conan did a tour after The Tonight Show. I saw the show in Kansas City. After the show, a number of us stood outside as they departed. This was a Sunday after the Season Finale of SNL hosted by Alec Baldwin. Someone yelled, "What was it like working with Alec Baldwin?’
He replied, "it was just like it was yesterday". So funny.

Am currently watching Ted Lasso..he deserves all the praise coming his way. Great show. Only wish it was available on Netflix/Prime so that it was available to a wider audience.

  22. Atreyus Chronicles on August 2, 2021 at 12:36 am

Jason Sudeikis skit on SNL "whats up with that" where he dances around in the Adidas track suit tells me all I need to know. He is a funny man down to his core. Still makes me laugh, and he is actually pretty good dancer-you know considering.

  23. Eric Ripper on August 2, 2021 at 12:36 am

7:22 "me and Baby Yoda have history", remember he was in the finale of Season 1 on the Mandalorian, seems like Jimmy didn’t catch that

  24. MAN45 on August 2, 2021 at 12:40 am

1:30 It’s still real to me dammit

  25. Larry Canupp on August 2, 2021 at 12:40 am

I was waiting for Q*bert to jump down onto Jason’s shirt to change every cube in a pyramid to a target color.

  27. A.T.L. on August 2, 2021 at 12:53 am

Ted Lasso is such a wholesome show…I have been so stressed out lately I didn’t expect the show to make me feel so warm, fuzzy and emotional☺️

  28. Roger Harris on August 2, 2021 at 12:53 am

Jason Sudekis getting the football simile wrong is very a Ted Lasso thing (back of the net)

  29. Anthony Cruz on August 2, 2021 at 12:53 am

I thought this show was gonna be a goofy show about soccer. Oh boy, was I wrong. You will laugh and cry. Often simultaneously.

  30. Keith Barrett on August 2, 2021 at 12:54 am

Ted Lasso has to be one of the best Steaming Series I’ve seen in a long time. I can’t wait to see season 2.

  31. Vamanos Ninja on August 2, 2021 at 12:54 am

Awww. I’ve never watched the show, but that is nice.

  32. Maitraiyee Bhatt-em on August 2, 2021 at 12:54 am

If this show doesn’t move you, we can’t be friends.

  38. Davey J Auzwald on August 2, 2021 at 12:57 am

Speaking of Second City, went there once, got a $30 margarita pitcher that had almost NO tequila. It tasted like they put 2 shots in the top and then the rest was sugar water. Funny comedy, shitty drinks.

  39. Zetsuke4 on August 2, 2021 at 12:58 am

    jimmy cried watching ted lasso

  40. Austin T on August 2, 2021 at 12:58 am

  42. Eugene Johnson on August 2, 2021 at 12:59 am

Oh Ted Lasso is one of, if not the, best thing streaming right now. And don’t get me started on the eye sweats. One scene in particular killed me; the panic attack scene. Man o man. Lots of onions was cut.

  43. Vamanos Ninja on August 2, 2021 at 1:00 am

I’m glad he’s having such success with his show, to make up for what happened in his personal life.

  46. rxbandit21 on August 2, 2021 at 1:03 am

What’s more surprising is how well Jimmy was interviewing him. Not the usual issues we’ve seen with other celebrities.

  47. ilovefr4nk on August 2, 2021 at 1:03 am

"me and baby yoda have history" yeah context Jason played a stormtrooper in The Mandalorian who bonked baby yoda

  48. Miranda Sexton on August 2, 2021 at 1:06 am

  49. Jerrod Bridgewater on August 2, 2021 at 1:09 am

jerrodbridgewater5@gmail.com From Jerrod Alexander Bridgewater in Shreveport, Louisiana 71109, 3500 Milam Street, Apartment K-201, Villa Del Lago Apartments….Howdy, Jimmy, and What’s been goin’ on, Jason….I believe you are both very talented comedians and I am now sending you both one of my self-created comedy statements : (This joke is only funny if this did not actually occur in the past)…There exists the very well-known phase : Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me ! In the Eighties, the singing groups of Styx and The Rolling Stones toured performing their songs in many concerts…..If they had toured together, they could have used this promo-statement: Attending and Listening to Styx and " The Stones " may break your Ear-Bones, if you are too close to the speakers at the concert, but their words will never hurt you ! Goodbyes……..from me, Jerrod B., to both of you guys !

  50. Federico Canut on August 2, 2021 at 1:11 am

Jimmy didn’t get the "I have a history with baby yoda" reference that Jason threw out, damn jimmy!
