Look at all that damage they’ve done. You should see the mines they mine from. Oil well goes 3 miles deep with a tube, while lithium mines are 4 miles wide and 4 miles deep. Glad self righteousness idiots think about themselves though.

  15. Scrub on August 1, 2023 at 1:00 am

Liberals against oil fracking but ok with strip mining lithium 😅

  16. J Hansen on August 1, 2023 at 1:01 am

How is lithium recycled? Are we going to poison our water system and soil?

  17. Music Only on August 1, 2023 at 1:05 am

this is terribly produced… Nightline sucks without Ted Koppel. This is like a cheesy Discovery show from the early 2000’s. Lame. Everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves.

  37. Stop Human Exploitation - SHE on August 1, 2023 at 1:32 am

Lithium Ion is not the only chemical for lithium batteries, *cobalt* is needed also. Read how it is mined! "They use pickaxes, shovels, stretches of rebar to hack and scrounge at the earth in trenches and pits and tunnels to gather cobalt and feed it up the formal supply chain." NPR February 1, 2023

    *white gold* my donkey!

"How ‘modern-day slavery’ in the Congo powers the *rechargeable battery economy*" WTAF! is the *green new deal* trading one catastrophe for another? The 21st centuries waste, pollutants, environmental destroyers, replacing fossil waste with green waste! How in the hell is this better? 🤔

  38. Hari Sankar on August 1, 2023 at 1:32 am

What is 500 football fields long 🤣

  39. Jimmy Woo on August 1, 2023 at 1:32 am

  43. Mark Miller on August 1, 2023 at 1:35 am

  47. Scrub on August 1, 2023 at 1:37 am

Liberals orgasmic about electric vehicles. Hugging trees but ignore strip mining damage and disposal. They hate coal but act like electricity is magic.

  48. Samuel Waters on August 1, 2023 at 1:40 am
