To be honest, Ohtani has not been hitting well lately. But he has tried to contribute to the team by pitching and baserunning to win. He can do more than most players, but his attitude to make the most of those features is what he has.

Shohei has been able to adjust to the spot hits by using his head and has been able to make games in all of his appearances so far. Now we just have to wait for his hitting to improve, and hope that his condition will improve with the temperature in June and July.

Shohei is so good at making batters chase balls out of the strike zone! They’re so scared of his heat that they have to commit to swinging. And then that’s where he gets them! Amazing work! 🔥
He may have struck out 10 but he could only go 6 innings which puts a lot of work onto the bullpen when they have to pitch at least 3 innings.
I was worried about Ohtani because of some rare errors, but his pitching was great after that. Let’s win tomorrow, Angels!
