Amax Coal Company – Delta Mine Barbara Kay Story

In the 1980’s AMAX Coal Company worked with the Illinois DPA to reclaim the abandoned Barbara Kay Mine on Crab Orchard Creek. The Barbara Kay Mine was on property owned by the AMAX’s Delta Mine and this video features many individuals who worked at Delta and in the AMAX Environmental Department. The video, photography and scripting was by Ron Richardson and Jeff Titchenal, who were employees of AMAX in the 1980.
