The French were notorious for establishing contact with native american tribes before venturing into their territory. The hunting of game and the molesting of their women would be first and foremost plus trading for useful items and of course horses. I believe this story is more fiction with an iota of truth. The fish always seems to get bigger with each telling of the story. Do I think there is hidden gold in the vicinity of Treasure Mountain. Of course there’s treasure in them there hills. Just ask the outfitter that’ll sale you the things you need to go get it. Anybody want to stake me.
WRECKKKEEEEEEDDD
Indians and French just aren’t real
Treasure Mountain was developed into a profitable gold mine back in the 30s and 40s. It’s no secret.
