Exploring California's Hidden Gems
Exploring California's Hidden Gems
I grew up in a small town in Northern California. And it is very common that many locals rarely explore their own backyards. With travel being limited nowadays, it is the perfect opportunity to explore your own state. I encourage you to hop on Google Maps and try to find some hidden gems for yourself.
All of these places we went to were in Shasta and Siskiyou County. I’m glad I got to share this side of California with you, there is so much more to be explored but unfortunately we only had one day. So stay tuned for the next adventure and thanks for watching! 🙂
🔥
Looks like Whiskey Town and The waterfall up there.
Omg! That waterfall is really a hidden gem! It’s so beautiful
Wow we must meet up and check out some waterfalls or swimming holes together, I am in Humboldt and have stayed at home for almost two years but after having COVID twice for sure and possibly 3 times or more I think I’m not afraid to go out again. What’s gonna happen? Am I gonna get it a 6th or 7th time? I’d like to check out some creeks with blue rocks and black volcanic rocks in Shasta county and an extinct and almost unexplored volcano between Redding and Sacramento, if anyone wants to give me a ride and film a video with me and my 2 young children.
The reason I don’t like your guys because yoga I didn’t say the name
So you upload you don’t geotag location? How do I get to those waterfalls?
Is it McArthur Burney falls?
Where is the waterfall located? It looks absolutely beautiful!
CHICO BABY!
Excellent view of California👍🏾 Thanks lots for your beautiful sharing! Wishe you much success!💞🤝
Thank you so much for sharing this video! Traveling back to Shasta and Siskiyou counties is something I can’t wait to do again. I haven’t been there in many years and I want to explore it as an adult and create my own itinerary. Thanks for reminding me how beautiful it is! 😊
I don’t consider chico a small town 😂
Yes, there is so much more to explore in NorCal outside of the touristy areas. Enough so, I created a channel about travel exclusive to NorCal. It’s probably why your video showed up in my feed. Well done! 👏👏😎🥤
Thank you so much!
It all up north McCloud, CA
Fowlers campground and Burney fall a few miles up the road from campground
Is the Mossbrea Falls trail actually dangerous? I will be traveling to Lassen NP and will be with a small child and I’ve heard the stories about people getting hit by trains. Are they just not paying attention or is there not enough room on the trail to get out of the way? What are your thoughts?
Im so happy i found your channel! Love you guys

Hi. Is there a part 2? I was thinking you were going to talk about different California gems. Where is the lake you were at? Was the water cold?
Location of that place
I thought it was SoCal nooooo😭
So where In California is this I wana go 😖lol can you provide me with a reference , I’m
I’m down town la
So dope Kiana!!
Would love to see San Diego.
Go to Burney Falls or the 3 Mcloud falls, there is no actual trail to mosbra falls, it is illegal to walk along RR property they will site you it is also steep with last sharp rocks, you will have to walk at an angle for quite awhile after wading across Sac river which is freezing cold even in the summer, so not a good idea
Could you give me the name of the first waterfall you visited i had no idea about that one. My instagram is @dwnlpzg if it’s easier to Dm thank in advance
I would love the video and I would really love to “like it” but…. I wish you gave the locations of the places you visited. 😔 never had the opportunity to plan a vaca. Like I have now and I have no clue where to start especially now a days! 😳
HI I loved your video, I"m determined to get to know as much of CA as possible while here. Can you tell me precisely where the waterfall is? thank you so much!
Lassen, Burney, Shasta all have background in volcanic…is there any hot springs nearby?
