Jordan, maybe i should take it on myself instead, but i feel like there’s something more to the darkness cast over egypt. It really seems like if it was just darkness, and there was light in the hebrew’s house, everyone would still be able to work something out.
Combine that with the "darkness you can touch" and i can’t help but to think it’s some metaphor for a loss of perception itself. they could feel the darkness, but they couldn’t figure out how to exist outside their homes. maybe i’m lending too much credit to the egyptian’s ability to function without pharaoh. i could also be underestimating their faith in their fear of their gods. if those are even different. idk. just feels like there’s more there.
I’d like to see a whole bible comparison to modern times series please. This felt like a great clash of different view points that was not a battle but a productive debate. Our society should learn such wisdom.
Say what you want about Putin. He is evil, but he guaranteed loves his country more than Evil Biden loves his. Biden sold out America to enrich himself in every way. He hates America and should not be in power.
My heart breaks for Prager, he is the quintessential "good" person who cannot see their need for Christ. Until we can see Pharoah in us, we are far from the kingdom of God.
So the Lord "hardened Pharaoh’s heart" , Exodus 10:20 , 10:27 , 11:10 and he would not let the Israelites go. What kind of god would choose to harden Pharaoh’s heart causing Egyptians who had nothing to do with holding the Israelites to suffer instead of softening his heart? Why kill the first born of the common Egyptians? The Lord could have just killed the Pharaoh’s kid. Seems like a psycho-killer god who allegedly has supreme power in the universe but would not command the Exodus without causing death and destruction.
I think this is the best signature Peterson could do. A round table and talking/debating about a specific biblical chapter with scholars.

I like the round table; but I was really hoping for a return to the original format of improv lecturing. I really hope Dr. Peterson will return to such a format for the next set.
The only way we can save our Country after Biden and the far left takeover, is if we the Church repent and welcome in the South America Hispanics to our Churches, with Jesus being in the forefront. They are here and millions more are on there way.

I’m English and in my country it is sad to see people identify as Marxists and communists mainly those who indentify politically as liberals but not always. In school we were taught about Nazism but never learnt anything about the Soviet Union or Mao’s China. Waving that hammer and sickle around is somewhat ‘trendy’ and not treated at all in the same way as waving a Nazi swastika is. It is worrying to say the least that we learnt absolutely nothing about those ideologies in school. I only heard about Maxism when I took a opinional future education sociology class in college and nothing was mentioned about the outcomes of the ideology and I can shamefully say when I was a young student I classed myself as a Marxist because to me the one thing it does and why it is appealing is it points out the flaws in the capitalist system. But when I got older and did my own research I was horrified and ashamed because it offers no soultions and teaches you to view the world as oppressors and oppressed and forces you to try and put everyone into two seperate camps regardless of individually and the horrors which occured because of it. Now sadly I see simular types of ideologies in the modern day sectors of the liberalists. Dividing people constantly into two groups and pitting them against one another. It’s causing serious divison not unity by painting out different genders, nationalities, skin colours, people of different incomes and religious beliefs as oppressors and oppressed which is similar to both the ideolgies of the Nazis and the Maxists. It is scary and totallitarion and the worst part is they hide their dictatorship under the notion of compassion and empathy for the most misplaced people so it is almost impossible to fight against without being called the worst labels known to humanity.
Joseph & Moses were not from the Tribe of Judah. "Israelite" would be a more accurate label than "Jew".

Buy us and our land in exchange for food, and we with our land will be in bondage to Pharaoh. Give us seed so that we may live and not die, and that the land may not become desolate.”
20 So Joseph bought all the land in Egypt for Pharaoh. The Egyptians, one and all, sold their fields, because the famine was too severe for them. The land became Pharaoh’s, 21 and Joseph reduced the people to servitude,[c] from one end of Egypt to the other. 22 However, he did not buy the land of the priests, because they received a regular allotment from Pharaoh and had food enough from the allotment Pharaoh gave them. That is why they did not sell their land.
23 Joseph said to the people, “Now that I have bought you and your land today for Pharaoh, here is seed for you so you can plant the ground. 24 But when the crop comes in, give a fifth of it to Pharaoh. The other four-fifths you may keep as seed for the fields and as food for yourselves and your households and your children.”
25 “You have saved our lives,” they said. “May we find favor in the eyes of our lord; we will be in bondage to Pharaoh.”
Considering the (Jewish) Names of these "midwives" might help in removing any ambiguity of their nationality.
The fear of God IS the beginning of Wisdom.
Who is wiser than God?
It was God who gave to Solomon, (considered as the wisest man) the gifts of Wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
The Beginning of Wisdom, is, to Accept the Source of Wisdom, without question.
In other words, to fear God is to "believe" whatever He says on ANY subject, and where, whenever, there is uncertainty, God Himself invites us to call upon Him, for the understanding, not reason amongst ourselves as to what He meant.

See John 7:15-17. He that "Will Do", Will know, And Not he that wants to consider to then determine if he will accept.

God knows our hearts, and He is patient with the seeker, that believes before he sees/hears, that’s the faith, that honors God.

It’s amazing to see how much you have grown your platform in such a short period of time. Like you I read and research and this is what I found. Since you fired up your channel on March 29th 2013. You have nearly half a billion views. 6.02 million subscribers. And this is fuelled by 624 videos! Amazing work Jordan. I wish that I could clone you! I would be sending your clones to all the high schools and elementary schools Canada wide. We need more mentors like you. We need more teachers like you. I wish I had a teacher and mentor like you while I was in my younger years. You are one hell of a speaker. You are a very intelligent and intellectual individual. Amazing lectures. amazing debates. I ask you Mr. Peterson. Please don’t stop talking. Please don’t stop lecturing. And most of all Please don’t stop telling the truth. I’d love to meet you and shake your hand and personally thank you for your honest work. The truth is what people need to hear. Some people are afraid of the truth. If you have no order in your heart therefore you have to create order in the physical world through systems. That’s why communism is popular. How did they not discuss the lack of free will of the Pharaoh? God states he decided to make the Pharaoh stubborn. He removed the Pharaoh’s free will such that God could demonstrate his power. God’s actions has implications and well worth discussion.

What wonderful insights these men have on the Bible. But to be a fly on the wall when Dr. Peterson and these men realize that “the volume of the books speak of Me(Jesus)” (Psalms and Hebrews). “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness” and as Jonah was “three days and three nights in the belly of the fish”. The Old Testament is Jesus concealed, the New Testament is Jesus revealed. May God bless your desire to know Him and increase it to discover all the riches He has for you in His Son.
