This flight went South over the Tucson Mtns, over Ryan Airspace and south to the Freeport-Mcmoran mine near Green Valley. From there I turned north past Asarco Mission Complex mine and continued north over Tucson to Oro Valley, where I flew along the western edge of the Catalina Mtns. I circled Biosphere II and climbed to 9000′, flew past Summerhaven and followed the Catalina Hwy descending to Snyder Road. From there I flew west along the Catalina foothills to Pima Canyon, where I turned north to arrive back at LaCholla Airpark. The flight was 1 hr total, covering 153 miles.
The mountains are much less green than they were during the monsoon season.

I know I posted the same comment as before, but your videos show us our beautiful area that we live in. Thanks for sharing your aerial views
Another great video. I used to fly over the mine areas a lot in the 70’s and 80’s. Also along the north edge of the ADIZ. Thank you
