Mine Tour Through The Rugged Arizona Countryside
Mine Tour Through The Rugged Arizona Countryside
For this abandoned mine exploration we visit several mines across the beautiful Arizona desert. We dig out an eroded portal and hike to several different sites looking for interesting underground explores. We found a wide variety of mine workings, artifacts, vehicles and a cabin. Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoy the video.

Ah heck, me loves some Tom and Julie time!!!
Hi Tom & Julie, some very beautiful landscapes you went through, it must be nerve wracking wondering if you will come across a burro, a cat or snakes in each portal you enter. That cabin would have been nice to live in back in the day before the rats etc took over. I thought that was Frank I heard even before you mentioned it lol. The sunset was gorgeous at the end of the video, thank you for sharing, much love to both of you. xx π
Ha. That last mine isn’t in Arizona. The "living room" of the cabin was rebuilt (not restored) a few years ago. That end had collapsed. Truck is a mid-1950’s Chevy.

13:04 part of a old bathroom scale ?
Moving all that rock and digging to get into that portal, that’s dedication to the cause right there !
It got a little wet and sketchy in there! That was a long haulage tunnel. Mustβve been collapsed there at the end. Ah, that cabin β gross! Iβd rather sleep outside, thank you. LOL Great thumbnail for this video, too!
That rusty metal contraption at 13:00 looks a lot like the remains of an old school bathroom scales ………
12:56 is a bathroom scale…or at least part of one
Bathroom scale
What year is the YJ? You should talk about it for us Jeep fans!

Looks like ya’ll made it out of California/Nevada. π Look forward to more Arizona locations. Hopefully the mines you find in the future will be more interesting than the ones in this video which were cut short, unfortunately. Cool artifacts though! ππ

I think that truck is a Chevrolet from the mid 50s
That thing with the spring thing is a old scale βοΈ the kind you stand on
Front bumper of that car says Pontiac to me, sometimes in the ’70s.

4:27 looks very much like an old style Monte Carlo ( 70’s )
Tom you and Julie bring enjoyment to this old man every week. Looking forward to next week already. Until then be safe and may God bless you both.
When Tom got to the hanging vent pipe and shone his light down the shaft I jumped a little! The vent pipe farther down the shaft with the duct tape hanging around looked like a person standing there looking back at us! π±π³ππ΅π€£π almost had a heart attack! Lol π
Thats called a number 2 shovel . Cause it takes 2 hands 2 operate It . π .
Not much to the mines but lots of stuff outside to explore..
For the first site explore, the waste rock pile seemed pretty big for a 12 foot prospect didn’t it?
Thanks for the great videos!
That cabin is probably still used as a survival cabin. Volunteerβs fix them up and lay in a few supplies. Food in the fridge to survive varments. Thanks, T&J!

Hello Tom and Julie, that old car reminds me of the 1970 Cadillac Eldorado my dad had when I was a teen. Big boat! But I think the bumper was straighter on those. Pretty sunset at the end.
