Chloride New Mexico – Old Silver Mine Ghost Town

Chloride Arizona was a real boom town back in the day. Founded by prospector Harry Pye, the town of Chloride grew from nothing to 3,000 people almost over night all because of a silver mother lode called “Pye Motherlode” There is very little left of this old town. Just a few residents and a few buildings remain.
