If stocks is gambling for rich people, gemstone sifting is gambling for hillbillies.

so.. any of you know of a good gem mine in germany or france or something? I live in the Netherlands, the only gem you can find here is the Jasper that comes from the german mountains… I don’t care what gem the mine has, I just really like digging XD

These people have the same problem as gamblers which means they have too much Dopamine in their brains. Go see a doctor for some help.

  28. Melvin Collins on November 13, 2020 at 9:11 pm

You need to get your info straight… these diamonds were NOT created below the mantle then pushed up… they were created by glaciers… Glaciers that started in the north picked up/carried coal (from Michigan or where ever) and carried it to this area (Arkansas)… As it was trundled along, the pressure from the BILLIONS OF TONS of dense glacial ice compressed the carbon in the coal into diamonds… When the glacier melted, the diamonds were left in situ in Arkansas… Get your damned facts right…

This would be an awesome place to propose. Like hey babe let’s go dig over here (where you buried the diamond ring) then she finds it and you ask her to marry you

  35. Jeb Broham on November 13, 2020 at 9:20 pm

This is only 20 miles from my house. It’s a waste of time though to be honest, unless you go right after a torrential downpour. Like crystals, in Arkansas, its the only way they come to the top easily.

There are rock hounds of all ages but he is right, younger people aren’t as common but thanks to the metaphysical community it has created a new appreciation for minerals, specimens, gemstones. Some people collect because they believe they stones have healing properties then sometimes they graduate from that and just become normal collectors and rock hounds. Many rock hounds and miners don’t like the metaphysical community, well mainly the sellers because they take basic common minerals and rename them and then sell them for way more than what they are worth

  39. John Dough on November 13, 2020 at 9:24 pm

Why the cluck would you sell a diamond mine only to get 50% back in return? People can be ignorantly greedy.

When I was 8 me and my brother were digging and found a bag that had over 100 tiny diamonds worth over 2 million dollars and the inspectors said we lived in a farm of diamonds but my dad did not want to bargain with them even tho they offered 10 millions dollars for the three acres we still live here our location is secret and we find diamonds all the time we are rich but we are not allowed to waste too much cuase then ppl will try to farm our land but we are millionaires.
